- Ajax4Hire: @phgruver $SO $XLU $PCG Epiphany. $PCG-PG&E will never thrive. Californians either hate $PCG for what it does or hate for the monthly bill $PCG extracts. Large scale electric power will be legislated, hated into oblivion(in CA first). What will comes after? Current "green" technologies(wind,solar,perpetual motion) can never supply enough power for a growing population and growing demand. Moving forward, the solution will be small, local, neighbor power plants(like a larger scale $GNRC solution). I have more on this idea but too long for this forum. My personal situation: 42home neighborhood $10k/home extra cost for 25kW/home, doable today with today's technology.

- dpierce3326: Thank you to @scottrades for the $PCG mention! Played this both ways for a nice 6.4% gain! Bought at $11.23 and $11.63 and sold all at $12.01. Then turned around and shorted at $12.26 and $12.50 and sold at $11.76 and $11.66. Felt good with this trade, however could have managed it a little better. R1 and 200 DMA were both right in the $12.30-$12.40 range.

- DAN: $PCG -- There are some people here who are a lot more informed than I am about bankruptcy law. But...don't overlook PG&E's bankruptcy filing. The stock won't go to zero. Filing bankruptcy isn't the death knell of the company. It just might be the beginning of the...beginning. Very risky stock, and admittedly does not fit my desired trade parameters. But as a swing trade / oversold rebound? Might work for those who can stand the risk.

His affection for the California Coastal Commission is inexpressible, at least in family newspapers. FWIW, I'm not seeing anything about a move; there are growing fears that wildfire liability, etc. will lead to a bankruptcy filing. Not the best chart I've ever seen, although it is managing to stay above the recent low. Hope that you're faring well as 2019 gets under way; all the best!

The idea that the utility will ever go bankrupt is folly. OT-Brown also will never acknowledge that when all the firefighters asked the governor to allow PG&E to remove already dead trees, he wouldn't allow it as the $$$ were already earmarked for the railroad that went nowhere. I have no idea how his conscience will fare for the now 63 dead with another 600 missing ---apparently, ignorance triumphs everything..

This stock bounced because of that flash drop and has traded over 63m shares since that drop, anymore negative news and you will get, another #flash drop, from those 63m shares, that were bought and that will be the next #entry price, for the next trade, this is not an investment, at this time. Our governor, of California, is going to sue $PCG, make no-mistake about it...is my guess because California has no money at all...none...but they have plenty of attorneys.
- phgruver: @champ @steve71 $PCG #negative #flash #entry Talk about "The Sword of Damocles" this stock has become a political football. That's why institutions are dumping it. As a value investor, I wouldn't touch this until there is some clarity. They could be forced into bankruptcy by unfavorable court rulings. A similar thing happened to $DUK back in 2015, driving them from $90/share down to $65. The bottom coincided with the Nov. election. That turned out to be a great buying opportunity. Be patient!
