  • MoSo: Natural Gas - $UNG KWK $DVN XTEX $NGS APC $UPL CLNE We might be in the middle of a glut, but an awful lot of these stocks look like a volatility expansion waiting to happen, on both the daily and weekly charts. As @Dan points out, volatility expansions go down as well as up, but I think it's worth taking a look at. Particularly looking at $KWK XTEX DVN

  • evanesce: @Dan, of the 28 names on my Ngas watch list the most interesting charts are $NGS and NWN. Natural Gas Services bounced off the 200DMA a couple of weeks ago and has actually risen while everything else flattened out. Northwestern Natural (which is a gas utility) is bumping up against a Feb/June resistance level, possibly one to watch for a breakout. Everything else looks pretty bad, there's a lot of "I want my money back" trades in the other charts I glanced at.
  • iancleghorn: I'm accumulating $SDS but I have to say $FSYS looks very attractive on a miserable day. In natural gas territory $WLL, $SWN, $CHK and $NGS seem to have stayed above resistance for a respectable amount of time. That's faint praise but there are currently a lot of stocks that deserve no praise at all. @Ian

    $APA, $DVN, ECA. $NGS had pulled back nicely to the 50dma and is moving again. $PBR is trying to breakout. MEE has done a nice job and $CHK is doing likewise.

  • med.medicine: Team: Thanks for your suggestions to some of my questions. I sold TRA & $YGE at around todays high. TRA coming with earnings next week. Last earnings made this stock fall. It might run high till then but i am skeptical about earnings as this is not the Wall Street darling like POT. Only stock which is moving sideways up & down with no new highs since long time. Will get in $YGE after it breaks 25 on high volume. Got in $CSX, $DRYS & CFSG. Got few AMZN. $NGS looks good but i totally forgot about it today. Just now saw on Fast money. Also if you want to buy $FSLR buy $JASO instead, they work together chart-wise. $HUM is a stock to be put on a watch list.
  • med.medicine: I really missed good trades. Saw $NGS rise from 21 to 29 within 10 days. $NOG also looks crazy + overbought. Director still got 80000 shares at 9.02 on 11th April. What do you guys think about these trades? $SOL also broke on upside today. Man! why i am not in these trades :) From today i am keeping an eye on CFSG everyday. BB got so squeezed on this one. Thanks.

  • 3blanco7: Ben, Also note that $NGS is supplier of equipment to the natural gas drillers, so it's less influenced by shortterm gas prices and more by long term demand. Also noticed that $NGS reports earnings tomorrow morning at 10 $CST, so this may be a big runup before a sell on the news aftermath.
