- woodman: $HBM - This stock has been on fire since February. In May, it got too extended and suffered solar wing-melt. In late June, this moved up out of a descending channel that had taken it back to the 50d. It looks on a recovery course now. Recent breakout (7/3-7/5) and pullback brings it back to the 50d. Potential phase 3 move to come. Or it could move sideways along the 20d/50d for a while. Failure to hold 20d/50d would be no bueno.
- woodman: $HBM - I'm not currently in this. It broke trend when it failed to hold the 21dEMA area, but this pullback and consolidation at the 50d is interesting.
- woodman: @sierramp $FCX $ERO - sold my $HBM.

- woodman: $HBM back to 20d area support with a little bounce.
- woodman: $HBM doing its thing. I mentioned last week that the pullback to the 20d was a good spot to buy/add. I added back some shares I had sold as a swing. It's moving above 8dEMA in the pre.
- woodman: $HBM - my copper stock, bouncing off the 20d area. I added back some shares yesterday and some more today. It's still below the 8dEMA, but keep your eye on this for a move back up.

- woodman: @sierramp $FCX $HBM - Looks like HBM could fall to the 20dSMA/21dEMA area ($9.05-$9.10), which also is the top of the gap when it gapped-up on 5/14 (i.e. the intraday low of 5/14).

- woodman: @champ $TECK #Breakout-level #all - Yep, another of the metal miners ripping right now. They've been great money-makers. I'm still riding $HBM (added more today, have a decent position) $EXK (added earlier in the week, have a decent position) and $ERO (too small of a position and missed my add).
- woodman: $HBM - the add today is working. Though extended, you could see the flag. This has been red hot since mid Feb.
- woodman: @cgendro1 $FCX - $HBM has been my primary copper stock. It's performed very well. Also been in $ERO. HBM provided a nice earnings report this morning. I held my shares through. HudBay Minerals (HBM) reported earnings of $0.16 per share on revenue of $524.99 million for the first quarter ended March 2024. The consensus earnings estimate was $0.03 per share on revenue of $463.69 million. The Earnings Whisper number was $0.05 per share. The company beat expectations by 220.00% while revenue grew 77.83% on a year-over-year basis. HudBay Minerals Inc is an integrated mining company. With assets in North and South America, it produces copper concentrate and zinc metal and is focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals.

- woodman: @cgendro1 $FCX $HBM $ERO - it's really hard to buy a stock on a day that it rips like this, but do keep $HBM on your radar for when it comes back to earth/moving averages catch up.

- woodman: $EXK $HBM $ERO - I'm still in these for silver (EXK) and copper (HBM ERO).
- woodman: $EXK $HBM $ERO - fyi, earnings for ERO are 5/7, for EXK are 5/9 bmo, and HBM are 5/13 bmo.
- woodman: $HBM pulling back after it popped and became too extended. This remains a nice chart. Current pullback is back to prior resistance/high spot (4/9), which may be new support. But I'm looking to add to my position hopefully on a pullback to - or drift until it meets back up with - the 20dSMA/21dEMA which served as support the last two times (both in April).
- woodman: $HBM - I jumped the gun a bit here with an add on this hammer back above 8dEMA off old resistance area. I'll look to add more at 20d area either on further pullback or catch-up.
- woodman: #Copper has been back on the upswing. $FCX $SCCO have made their ways back to recent highs. $HBM, which I've just been holding since beginning of the month, never pulled back. It just drifted to the 20d. I'm still in $ERO as well (I held it and HBM over my vacation). ERO pulled back decently to the 50d but moved right back up.
- traderbren: @woodman $FCX $SCCO $HBM $ERO #Copper - yep, copper has been on a run of late. Still holding May calls on $FCX and will be looking to roll them up & out soon. I do like $SCCO too but decided to go with $FCX when it pushed above the 20d and 8ema last week.
- woodman: #Copper not a bad day. I'm still holding $HBM (chart has held up well) and $ERO (chart hasn't held up as well as HBM's of late, but it's bouncing off 50d today) from the beginning of April.
- woodman: Some that I'm still in for this metals run - $EXK (silver miner) $PAAS (gold/silver miner) $ERO (copper) $HBM (copper). Some are obviously extended now, but I'm trying to stay on until bucked off.
