- woodman: @jambaman $FTAI - Management, as anticipated/hoped-for, announced a clean bill of health on its audit this morning. Earnings next week.
- woodman: @jambaman $FTAI - Recent high area of around $180 could be a magnet.
- woodman: $FTAI - I picked some up near the lows of the day. Stop under current low of the day. Lots of positivity here and higher PT's coming out (around that recent high (its all time high) area of 182). Ordinarily, I wouldn't touch this with this kind of move, but with earnings coming in a week and all the positivity following the clean audit and decimation of the shorty hit job, I think it moves higher. But need to play it safe with a stop. Risk less than a couple %points or so to maybe get 20% more, though it may entail a decision whether to hold through earnings if it doesn't continue running up from here into earnings on 2/26 amc.

I wouldn't advise grabbing more if it doesn't hold the low of the day. Otherwise, I think you can do what I did. But, don't permit yourself to give back much of what you made. You are way ahead on your trade.

- woodman: $FTAI has been on the rise since being hit by some shorty outfit. Today's 5.5% move, which took it up through the 200d, stopped at the overhead 50d. I believe it is doing an audit and perhaps will provide info/clean bill of health before/as it rolls into earnings (2/26 amc). If so, this could move decently higher into and through earnings. It's on my radar now.

(FTAI.NaE) and certain of its executives, alleging securities fraud. The complaint, filed in the Southern District of New York, seeks to recover losses for investors who purchased FTAI securities between July 23, 2024, and January 15, 2025.

- woodman: @PhilHarmonic $FTAI - Your comment has some validity ... if you are narrowly looking at the tiny sample of post-10/30 earnings trading action. Step back from the trees obstructing your vision and look at the chart. Looking at a weekly chart is helpful. What I see is a wonderful two-year chart with price going from lower left to upper right. That's what I like to see. Over this time, buying the pullbacks to the 50d on the daily chart has been money. And understanding that $BA's woes benefit FTAI also helps. Currently, it is consolidating within an intact uptrend.

BA's woes - something that's seemingly endless - benefits this company. Fewer new planes from Boeing means FTAI continues to benefit by servicing and leasing older ones.
