Xcel is driven by renewable expansion. Interim move is retiring two coal plants early, extending a nuke plant until 2040, building some solar, and building 2 natgas plants. Target is carbon free electricity in 8 states by 2050. Profits and dividend increases likely limited by spend. In 2018 EPS grew by 10%, mostly based on Minnesota wind power. Most utility companies can't match that source.
