Others who are long/swing, etc., won't be. I don't trade this stock and have no skin in the game. I just saw those articles and figured I'd give a warning because I know folks here have been involved with the stock in one way or another. Good luck to everyone.

  • DrScience: @woodman $DJT Current valuation is over 4 Billion, P/E Ratio is -51, and revenues which are virtually non-existent at less than 1M for the most recent quarter pretty much puts the company in the same basket as Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. It looks like the CEO and largest shareholder of this social media company is running the same scam as many times before that wound up on the ash heap of corporate history: a bankrupt Shuttle Airline, a bankrupt Hotels & Casino Resorts, a defunct University, and others. The articles you referenced, like others of the same ilk, may be best summarized as did the New York Times in 2016: "The burden of his failures fell on investors and others who had bet on his business acumen." If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck!
  • woodman: @DrScience $DJT - Yep, not to mention his other failed businesses/products, including steaks, wine, beer, vodka, water, power drinks, games, mortgages, travel site, mattresses, telephone communications, magazine, condos, fragrances, and his almost inacalculable lawsuits surrounding his businesses and business dealings (without even getting into all the other lawsuits and prosecutions). $DJT investors and shareholders have been/will be massively screwed, as they always have when investing in/dealing with Trump. The willful blindness, greed, and/or delusion that drives people to do business with him and remain believers in his business acumen is truly astounding.

For those of you who don''t play in option end of the pool, high open interest is a good thing. 7K for the $40's and 9K for the $45's We have a catalyst tonight. Not a sure thing though. I'm sure the stories are already written that the President, whom no one can keep up with, blew the Orange Man out of the water. Long the 36's which were at the money 2 days ago. I consider this a lotto trade.

That would take it below zero, which is unlikely, but, I would say the next move is down, absent some headline news. Wait for a green day on volume! The 200dma may provide support, as may $25, but WAIT FOR IT! The hardest lesson to learn, in trading, is patience! Sit on your hands until the setup/trigger materializes, don't try to anticipate it.

  • DrScience: @drjoeedee1 $DJT I don't see a trend change. Meme stock or not, the stock needs to get above Friday's high and hold above the 21 EMA to signal a trend change. Until then, this is a counter-trend rally within a bearish pattern. As @mikethompson noted, however, option premiums are quite elevated. On the chart, the probabilities (plus/minus $15 move over the next 23 days) map to a range between 20 and 52. Make hay while the sun shines, but don't cut it today when there's rain in the forecast for the weekend.

  • PTinME: @Henry $TSLA $DJT $MSTR Good morning and thanks for the reply. I'm not excited about TSLA I bought a small position at 161 as it seem to be holding that level. I have a stop at 149 in case it should hold the 52 week low area. Not exactly great charting but my loss if my stop is hit will be about 7 percent. MSTR I was buying dips thinking 1200 or 1150 would be the bottom "if" Bitcoin is to hold the 160 level. But now both $MSTR and $COIN are broken so I'm stepping aside until things firm up.
