  • StockMarketMentor: I apologize for omitting the ticker on Cipher Mining. It's $CIFR For your convenience, here is the text I just sent out: Cipher is a bitcoin miner. Last Thursday it reported mining 241 bitcoin in August, which was up from 214 in July. The reaction was positive and reversed a couple of days of selling pressure. It's now printing a fresh multi-year high on high volume (today's volume is already above the average daily volume). I'll open a trade on this with an entry at 8.84, and a loose stop at 6.95. --Dan

The chart looks funky because the SPAC $GWAC became $CIFR via merger on August 30, 2021. From the $BAC note: $CIFR is a US-focused #bitcoin ($BTC) mining company that had its IPO in 2021 and is one of the largest public mining companies. Cipher began its 40MW wind-powered initial operations on February 24, 2022 with plans to expand meaningfully in 2022-2023. Cipher guides to $27.30/MWh 5Yr weighted average power prices on its current deployment plans and $42.81/terahash (TH) for its mining rigs (up from $38.58/TH in November), focused on the largest sources of operating and capital expenses, respectively.
