FORMULA IS SIMPLE- Control the freakin' inventory of yupscale trendy stuff and introduce Cheap wedding attire in a brand new Wedding Shop in the heart of Wedding Season 2. You go Frannie!! 3. Never saw this one on anyone's list and yet THE CHART SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU WHAT YOU NEEDED TO KNOW. 4. IMO if you bet on the right chart and the right people that has always been a winning formula for me because in good times you male more and in bad times you lose less and if you couple that with the stops that the charts show you, in the long run IMO you should be OK.

At some point it will make sense to short $SG but not now. Continue to keep alerts (to the downside) so you can short the snot out of names like $SG $ANF $WSM when we get a turn in the market and there's less moolah in the pocket of consumers.

The wedding shop is NEW add back in the daddy-$NVDA now above the 50 A stock that almost always graduates with honors is $TOL no matter if the market is up or down $HD-over Lowes as builders made parking at Home Depot impossible Have yourselves a weekend folks!
- debeers: $RH-YOUR IF/THEN TRADE -IF housing goes up (since $TOL doesn't miss), THEN- in my opinion, $RH recovers took it small but IMO the bottom is in. Overall what i noticed today is that the softening in employment is very good for yupscale stocks- For example-- you could buy downscale but in Cali weddings are up and the big spenders haven't slowed down one bit hence $ANF the chart tells what the fundies know.

- debeers: Following are my longs with the reasons attached: $ANF a drop to 109 seems doable so i rebought $FANG- Would he dare refill the petroleum reserves with oil from Iran? $GM--Well Mary is geared for money not politics and, realizin g no one wanted the EV's unless one lived in New York or Cali, she said screw it. I am putting my energies toward ICE trucks and cars and maybe someday we'll acknowledge that, with China burning coal at a furious rate, we don't stand a chance against global warming anyway. $ITCI- if not this, pick another teeny weenie when Woody comes back $META- Zuck money goes to An imal Rescue so i hafta think he pulls this off. Maybe, just maybe the Congress bans Tik Tok becausedi8f you didn't alreadsy get it the Chinese use this as a vehicle for spying on you.

Just because something doesn't make it on an "Official" List doesn't mean it's not a good idea, just that it may not be on our radar which is why we rely on people like you to bring it to the attention of the group.

It all worked out... they did really well with it. I was the Back office guy for 10 years, leading to my second retirement. I remember Abercrombie was one of their best sellers. I'm now working hard at not having a 3rd retirement... although maybe the third will eventually be from trading :) All the best...

- bigbartabs: @DavidK $ANF #2 ... the thing that personally kept me motivated was I got to write an entire Microsoft Excel Point of Sale package for the store... website, marketing system, etc etc. I had retired from EDS / HP in 2009, and found myself missing all the high tech stuff I had grown up with for 30 years. I was able to scratch that itch :)
- debeers: $ANF- in one month they did 34.5 % up in 3 months 180% up in 12 months up 390% up Isn't that good enough? So, i have a question------ Was it EVER on any list here? NO Why not? WHY NOT HAVE A BEAT EARNINGS AND UP OVER 300% IN A YEAR LIST? Conference call at 2pm central time. Pretty easy reason-----Fran controls inventory with an iron fist so---there iS no ABHERCROMBIE RACK.

- vitoB: $ANF ...roll over might finally be here....generally beat numbers on all accounts, top and bottom line, margins up, inventories down. however it was the smallest beat in 6 quarters and the forecast of 4-6% inrease for this year is pretty low, for a retailer priced at 1.8 times sales, 35P/E...implied move on this was 14%! im fading
