- scottto_2: I remain on the hunt for low risk entries. I screened for stocks that, in spite of the overall market flush, had a higher low versus yesterday. A lot of Usual Suspects showed up and a few that maybe we should know about. Anyhow, here they are FWIW (I left out Healthcare, Biotech Dreamers and anything under 5 bucks): $AEM $AGI $AU $BE $BILL $CCH $CEF $CLX $DG $DOCU $DOYU $DPZ $DRD $EA $FIVN $FNV $GFI $GRUB $HUYA $KR $NLS $NOMD $NTES $OCFT $OKTA $PDD $PFSI $PVG $RGLD $SAND $SCPL $SERV $SSRM $TCO $TDOC $VAPO $VIRT $VNET $W $ZM Looks like there are some potential entries here with stops below today's intraday low. Also several are buttressed by significant support at major moving averages, also providing a logical stop for a trade. Happy hunting. Would love to know any ideas that people come up with. Thanks. - scottrades: Some Individual #Gold miners squeezing higher: $NEM $KGC $SA $BTG $GORO $DRD $GOLD
- Herb: The two strongest gold miners today are $DRD and $AU. These are both South Africa.
- issues: IBD group 13 is gold. (Thats an excellent group for the time being). In that group are these: On the 10 day chart $EQX (up11%) $DRD (13%) $SBGL (8%) $AUY (7%) $KL (7%) $HL(1%) So AUY is better than HL (just look at the 10 day chart.) The best would be EQX and DRD. Both are highly rated on IBD EQX is 84 (composite) A accumulation DRD is 97 A- I bought EQX because it’s a $7 dollar stock vs a $5 stock. I just got a hundred shares.
- issues: What was that silver etf USLV? I bought $BRFS $PPC and added to $AZUL $DRD $GOLD $LTM $NGD $PAGS $RDS/A. Tomorrow will tell the tale with the fed.
- JoeTrader: @issues $KL $PVG $AU $GOLD $NGD $AXU $SVM $DRD Look at $AG and $WPM also...Silver has been underperforming Gold and is overdue for a "catch-up" phase...
- issues: The best stocks in our portfolio are the metals. So I did some research on IBD and added to or bought small new shares of the following: $KL $PVG $AU $GOLD $NGD $AXU $SVM $DRD. Good as "gold" eh? oh yes, finally I bought $SSRM (the only one listed positive on 'Stocks on the Move' in IBD today)

- woodman: $DRD up and out of inside day. It's a fighter. But close to its recent high now.

- woodman: $DRD - Added back shares yesterday (as posted), sold half of my entire position today. Same process as I've been following since February, trading around a core position. Sell pops, buy pullbacks with a bounce.
- woodman: $DRD - adding back DRD shares today. I've been swing trading around a core position since February, lightening up on pops and buying back on drops when it starts bouncing again. Been one of my best swing traders all year.
- woodman: $DRD - very wide BBs so not the most attractive chart rhrn, but it pulled back over 20% recently and pullbacks to the middle BB area have been good spots to buy in the past. I remain long this one, having traded around a core position.
- woodman: $DRD sold 3/4 of my position this morning.
- woodman: $AKG $DRD - mentioned AKG yesterday, which was a little late. The bounce off the 50 day Thurs/Fri last week was a nice opportunity. So many other gold (and silver) stocks are extended. Speaking of which - $DRD is catapulting. :)

- woodman: $DRD $AKG - As posted in the past, I've been long $DRD for gold. Still long that one, but I just noticed $AKG (another gold miner); it pulled back to the 50 day last week and is bouncing, so it is not extended like many other in the space. Just an fyi.
- woodman: @champ $NUGT - #PreciousMetals - moving well for sure. I'm in $SLW and $DRD
- woodman: I sold almost all my precious metal and oil and gas stocks before the minutes. Now have to wait and see what happens. Many had excellent runs and were extended, so I didn't want to risk them. One I will be looking at is $DRD. I sold it before the minutes and will watch now. It moved down a lot - back to the middle BB today. I view that as a pretty good spot to buy it (or buy it back), but will want to see what happens tomorrow and if it holds or whether there is more down to go.
- woodman: @infocus $EXK Yes, for nibbling, realizing that move out of a squeeze can go either way. While my hunch is that it goes higher, it's just a hunch. (I'm also long $CDE in the silver space, and $DRD in the gold space, fwiw.)
- infocus: @woodman $EXK $CDE $DRD Thanks. Bought some $EXK @ 3.80. I'm in Toronto and could have bought in Can. account, but it's very thin here. A lot more liquidity in U.S. where I bought.
- woodman: $DRD $CDE - gold stock and silver stock, respectively, that continue to work well. Both sectors, of course, are working so there's much to choose from. These are what I'm in, fwiw, though they are hard to buy today. I would NOT buy DRD rhrn.
- woodman: $DRD - put on watch list. Pulling back into its channel, after having popped up and out. It needs to work that pop off.
- woodman: $DRD - one I've mentioned in the past. Still long. Tags of the 21dEMA have been a good place to guy it. 13dEMA isn't bad for your entry if small and with the notion that you'll add on a further pullback. You just need to keep it small in the beginning.

- woodman: $DRD leading the gold stocks today. Long this one; though I wouldn't buy it today, it's been a fairly easy hold. Previously, I traded around a core position, but eventually added back (and added some more), and just been holding it. There's really no reason to fiddle around with it.

- woodman: @Alexandra $DRD I bought in February at $3.41 and $3.48. I sold two-thirds of it on 3/3 at $4.04. I should have bought back what I sold when it pulled back again to rising support, but I didn't. I'm remain interested in adding shares but would like to see some resolution of this squeeze into the apex.
- woodman: $DRD - continuing to move up rising support into flat top resistance. Worth watching. (FD - long since mid Feb.)
- woodman: #PreciousMetals Sold 60% of my $DRD - double top range and outside BBs at 3 standard deviations. Still holding $EXK.
- issues: Just looking at the 52 high list on Market Watch (http://www.marketwatch.com/tools/screener?exchange=Nyse&report=High52WeekbyPercentGain) I see $SKF (Dan mentioned on the week end 1/29 - see I DO KEEP NOTES Dan!) with other inverse efts. Also 52 week highs $DRD $TSN $SICK
