- woodman: $TGTX - bought this off the lows following its earnings annoumcement today. This is a trade (i.e. not intended as longer term, though the longer term chart is a good one overall based on its approved drug for relapsing MS).
- DavidG: @woodman $TGTX I'm a retired neurologist who used two of the anti-CD20 abs in my practice to treat MS. I used Rituxan and Ocrrelizumab -- great drugs for treatment resistant cases to legacy drugs. Rituxan is generic now, possibly cheaper, but no approval for MS, but can be used off-label. There are two approved drugs, ocrelizumab and ofatumab (latter is subcutaneous administration monthly while the others are every six month by IV infusion). So there are already 3 of these drugs in use. $TGTX has a 4th drug that just completed a phase 3 trial called "ublituximab" (Briumvi). To my scrutiny , I don't see that much clinical differences between them. It's becoming a crowded field. Reminds me a little of the GLP1 agents.

- woodman: @DavidG $TGTX - My sister in law is currently on Kesimpta (started in 2022). She started on Copaxone in 2018, but her neurologist wanted her on a higher efficacy med and expalined that there hs been a shift in thinking the treatment of MS - that it is better to not wait until symptoms worsen or MRIs show activity, but to move to a higher efficacy drug to guard against both. Her doctor suggested Mavencald, but my sisster in law was worried about the drug's profile and some other neurologists agreed that caution was warrented. It was a tough decision as her doctor acknowledged. Utlimately, her doctor was/is in full support of Kisimpta.
- DavidG: @woodman $TGTX Kesimptra (ofatumumab) is a high efficacy, protective drug like Ribuximab or ocrelizumab -- I like this drug because it is relatively safe and self administered by SC injections at 1 month intervals. No infusion/infusion center costs. I retired before this one came out, but on paper it is a nice treatment soluction. The TGTX drug is currently infused IV every six months and is not yet approved for SC self administration.

- woodman: @joelsg1 $TSLA $EOSE $RCKT - Sorry, I don't know anything about it. I'll have to take a look. Biotech has been so lousy for quite some time. And then there's the head-scratcher of immensely unqualified RFK, Jr. to lead healthcare in the U.S., if confirmed. I don't think the pharma/biotech industry has much of a grasp of what that will mean. My biotech positions are $ARDX (bought back mostly between around $4.70 to to $4.90 and a little more at $5.20 - of note, insider (Director) David Mott recently bought $1 million worth of stock at $4.67) and $HUMA (bought back between ~$4.90 and ~$5.05). My ARDX (small-medium position) is larger than my HUMA (small). I also have a little (even smaller position in) $TGTX and $AUPH, and a mere placeholder in a few others just so I don't forget about them. All in all, a relatvely low concentration in biotech.

The 20dSMA is a little higher above still. It has about a 12% and 16% move from here to the top BB and its recent high, respectively.

On Friday after-hours, it announced that it has moved up the date for its earnings/updates reporting and conference call to Monday, 5/1, before market open. Seems that management has been executing the launch of their "best in class" (as it has been called) MS drug very well. They seem eager to tell the Market something.
