The support level is the 50-day moving average. It wouldn't be something I would buy here...but it could be a low risk trade for you, vito. You just keep your stop below yesterday's low. Make sense?

They sold their LA brewery to Pabst. It ain't Miller time any time soon. And $BUD missed earnings by 151% recently. Nice to see $SAM kicking ass as $BUD and $TAP get waxed for boring, tasteless beer. $STZ is also in the dumpster currently

Earnings growing 10%, PE and everyone these days says PE doesn't mean anything but it's 72. $DEO, $STZ, $BUD, $TAP don't have charts anywhere near as good. It's up 47% in 2 months. It's beer. Supposedly people are drinking their way through the covid crisis and if kids are going to be home 365 days, they will continue to drink. Will bRobert's price target be 975? It might and the stock might get there. I like their beer BTW

- Sher: $TAP - Nice bullish reversal underway after pretty steep PB - MS lifted PT to $45 from $42, this morning. I'm long July $42.50 calls, to which I've been adding - MAs are reversed but improving - Today's 3+% move has put it back above the 8, 20 and WV MAs - Stock has retraced about 40% of it's 6-11-20 low of $36.38 and is currently trading at $39.50, boosting the calls 58%, today.
- Sher: This has been fun, but taking profits on several large front month call positions... Many were put on yesterday and I am more than happy with the gains: $BYD, $CTL, $ING, $NTAP, $QCOM, $SU and $VIAC. Took profits on $ARNC, $BGS, $GE, $LEVI, $RDFN, $SAVE, $WORK and $ZS earlier in the week. Still long $AZN, $CNC, $DHI, $INSG, $NET, $NLY, $NRZ, $SDGR, $TECK, $TAP and $X. This all just seems a bit surreal...

- Sher: $TAP - Squeezing to the upside after steep earnings sell-off - MAs reversed though 8-day now curling to the upside and back above the 20-day, and with today's nearly 4% gain, price is, once again, solidly back above VWAP. Guggenheim increased TP from $51 to $54 - Stock currently trading at $42.08 - Pre-earnings high was $47.24. Grabbed a few July $42.50 calls, this morning, at $1.30/share - Currently trading at $1.80/share.

- DrScience: $XLP The ETF has been trading on double and triple average volume during the month, and as company reports come in, we're getting some giant swings. The Staples sector fell away from resistance today as it appears -- for now -- to be a risk-on environment. $CLX reported this morning, and is holding the 50 DMA; earnings at $TAP were sold into. With only a few fish swimming against the tide and with the overall market attempting to stabilize here, I think money will flow out of this sector, at least, into the end of the year. I'm looking at an aggresive DEC 55/58 BeCS @ 1.03 Credit. A more conservative DEC 56/58 @ .50 might work, as well.

- baronp0329: Watching $STZ, could be a low risk entry. Support around 205. NP. The catalyst for today’s jump appears to be the joint venture Molson Coors Brewing ($TAP) announced with The Hydropothecary Corporation ($HYYDF), also known as HEXO, this week to create cannabis-infused beverages. The market always likes it when trends start to pick up steam, so seeing TAP join STZ in the cannabis arena seems to be generating a lot of confidence for both stocks.

- DAN: @Cheezit $TAP Hi Cheezit. No, I wouldn't give you 50 lashes. I don't see it as a falling knife anymore. IT's holding at $60. But because it's just drifting sideways, you can see that there is plenty of supply at that level. Sellers are still liquidating the stock, and buyers are still buying -- all around $60-61. So when can we say that the stock will actually start moving higher? Tomorrow? Friday? Next week? we really can't. We just see that it is NOT moving higher now. And the longer the stock trades at the same level, the less oversold it becomes. So if you're buying it now, you're just buying a dip and then relegating yourself to sitting back and hoping that the stock starts moving higher...no time reference. Make sense?

It also seems to me that the prices have gone up on beer. Some stores have gone into the super markdown Sunday sales where you need to be in line prior to opening to have a chance at the good items. A couple months back a couple shops had the Oban 18 for almost half price. Why pay full price?
