Now is a good time to start a position with Redline=just below 200day-MA But, I was uncomfortable starting a new position on Friday. Starting a position today, this morning Mon,May17th. Also, both were bought by $ARKK last Thursday(but don't let that scare you).

- SamWB: @scottrades I know you like volume and green days so I wanted to bring one to your attention. A friend brought $BEAM to my attention on Monday. Going by what I've learned here I saw it well under the 50 and lower BB so I didn't watch it very carefully. Yesterday it had a very nice green day and today as well. It appears to be cooling off as the day ends but I am adding it to my watch list now. Perhaps you will find this interesting.
- scottrades: @SamWB $BEAM Thanks for the heads up! I would like to see it base a little more and get back above it's major MAs but I see that you're looking at. I'd also just be cautious about it because it's a Biotech stock and sometimes you can have some good or bad news that comes out and some wild price action. I think I've seen this one come up on a few scans a couple of months ago.

- Hawk327: $BEAM #Cramer did a segment about this with in the past few days. Use to be a part of Fortune Brands. It was probably the strongest of the three divisions. This is basically a new stock since 10/4. Take a look @ $DEO for comparison. $DEO currently top of the box but has been posting higher lows. The lower BB has been acting as a spring board. Look for pull back to below 75 range and support. This could also make a investment type holding. $BEAM DEO no current position.
