- Bert953: @jwstich $SEZL Bearish Left/Right candle pattern Monday & Tuesday: Doji followed by a bearish engulfing candle on higher than avg volume. Stochstics rolled over, along with RSI and moneyflow. Price closed below the 8. Wednesday was a doji at the 8 and today price fell below the 20dMA, aka a doji sandwich continuation pattern (down in this case). As I understand it, Candlestick charts are the graphical representation of the market participant's sentiments expressed through price. These patterns repeat again and again, but not always. As technical and trend following traders, our edge is nimbleness. I do not believe that we can compete with teams of analysts of the big firms, so I analyze charts to the best of my ability, working to hold winners and cut losers quickly. Hope this helps.
