Everyone potential buyer can enter to the party. To fail in this type of environment requires some real effort. The best operators will crush it. All the charts look very similar

- debeers: $LAD- when you are a "new ' car dealership but don't actually have to sell new cars as opposed to $SAH, you have a distinct advantage. In my opinion, you could get glad with $LAD.

Keep in mind that most stocks from the Bollinger Band scan report earnings in the next 2-3 weeks, but these could be candidates for short-term swing setups. - DAN: $ABG -- this illiquid stock is breaking out. Auto related stocks have been doing pretty well lately. Note that there have been just 50k shares traded today, so this is a higher than average risk. (I've done no fundamental research on this -- I'm just looking through retail stocks because retail is performing nicely today). $SAH and $GPI are looking the same way. Again, watch the LIQUIDITY! These are thin stocks.
- Leigh: $SAH not only a BeldHold but One Famished Bullish Engulfing too! It is Eating more than 3 months worth of Candles today! This is an Earnings Play and I would expect a 45 Degree move from here!
- Neil375: @woodman Nice to know I have some company in this one. Can't have enough eyes on the market. Here's a few others involved with autos. $DORM at support and looking and waiting for some buyers. They make replacement auto parts that are difficult to find even from dealers. $SAH It's a dealership with franchises . Came up on scans a few times. Moving up the upper Bollinger Band on the weekly. Yahoo list the 5yr expected PEG ratio at 0.89. Might be worth just checking about the company. I really can't find a great entrance might just go ahead and buy a bit.
- Neil375: $SAH - Sonic Automotive is a auto retailer. It's been showing on scans. A bit more searching led me to a few more in this group all at or near new highs.$ABG, $GPI, $AN, $LAD, $PAG. And $LEA is looking good.

- snmtraders: $LEA @fredsfreedom - Agree with you there, and wonder how long the auto suppliers can continue their upward trend. Never heard of $MOD, but will check it out. I own $SAH from awhile back, but never got into $LEA, which I think can do much better given it had gone through bankruptcy a couple years ago, or maybe last year (time flies when you're having fun), so it gets a huge lift from this. Oakmark Equity and Income Fund owns this and have a $80 target on it over the next 2 years or so.
