- Wolf: @jan2138 Are you familiar with $PUK? It is posted as paying 5.42%, but the dividend and chart are all over the place. It has an option chain, but the bid/ask spread is pretty wide. Looks like it has upside if it can ever break the 200DMA. It is UK based. Thanks BTW, the symbol "PUK" makes me a little nervous ;)
- jan2138: @Wolf $PUK I am not familiar with it. It's an ADR issued by a British company. It's not one I would be interested in with that semi-annual dividend and yield. Just curious. Why would you be interested in it unless the options strategy is appealing?
- jan2138: @Wolf $PUK Also, what are the chances of it breaking through the 200 day? It has failed the last 2 times it got near. I think the chances are much better that it will pull back. Just mho.
- Wolf: @jan2138 $PUK I came across it searching for another ticker. I have an income strategy of calls and puts for stocks with predictable cycles. One of the requirements is a decent dividend in case you get stuck holding it awhile. Looks like the yield could be better than posted as the last Div was higher than the prior year.
- Wolf: @jan2138 $PUK You are probably right. I would look to buy on the low end of the cycle and sell a bull put spread, but the option chain is really not good enough.

Yeah, unfortunate ticker symbol, isn't it? It represents the U.S. ADRs of Prudential UK, an insurance conglomerate with substantial (and highly profitable) operations in Asia, including China. I've been ever so slowly sift ... - brwnilocks: $PUK You made me look at the chart and ouch, that's a nasty pukefest indeed!
