- debeers: $MTDR- Raymond James just upped their outlook to 78. The only 1 international that i still have that is down--as i had to give up on $TSLA and $LRCX due to China shennanigans is $MAR and staying with that because of superior earnings history and the stronger dollar has been amazing for travelers to Europe. Otherwise: $MOH reporting 10/26 AMC-NO MISSES $MTDR 10/25 AMC $PPG, $SLB already reported fantastic, $STLD beat whereas someone else's $NUE did not--just saying. When there's not a lot to do, i try to do nothing. Staying away from most consumer discretionary for now and its killin' me. But i know very few folks who are making major expenses now. $MRK-breaking out imo.

- debeers: @Forexpro $PPG -If there is one person and one person only to read here it is YOU. i know no one more knowledgeable and as nice as he is smart. i won't kid you: living in Californicate-you is tough with gas over 6 bucks and strawberries costing 50 per cent more where i live and where they are grown 2 hours away than they are on the East Coast. nevertheless, where i live is so nice that i wouldn't trade it for anything as long as i can live through fire season. i hope you are faring well too and i think of you often and how lucky i am to have made your acquaintance here.

- Roadrunner: $PPG watch list: ER after the bell. It gapped up off earnings in April. Looks to be headed down to S1 $162.53 today on heavy vol. but that won't fill the gap.

If you bought it when i suggested it you'd be up 96% year to date. i add when MY stocks go down because i've vetted them to begin with. Different strokes. Lots of stocks have good entries repeatedly and are shitty companies and you don't deserve to make money on crappy companies because no one else will either IMO. One of the reasons i follow @bRobert's entries is they are always spot on. When he and i agree, it is usually bankable IMO.

Maybe it will be forgiven, but I hate to see stocks fall out of favor with the Market, yet our members are fixated on every tiny positive day while the stock bounces around the bottom right of the chart. I referenced this in an earlier post today. People are watching and posting about stocks like $ZS or $ZM and no one has posted about $PPG in 3 months, though it's up 22%. Dan's right no one can watch all the stocks, but we have a few thousand eyeball here, somebody might have noticed some of the breakouts that have gone unmentioned.

- bsafriet: @BocaRick $OLED $AAPL #LED #WSJ Investors just don't get it - $OLED provides organic materials that are manufactured into OLEDs and incorporated into screens. They also license their IP to the screen manufactures. Samsung is by far their largest customer and $APPL revenue is really insignificant at this point in time. One of these days the market will wake up. Earlier this year they contracted/licensed $PPG to manufacturer the raw compounds provided to the screen mgfs - eg Samsung, LG etc. $OLED has a lock on the technology. What do you think uses more phosphor materials - an iPhone screen or a big screen TV? It's all hype and sentiment driving the stock price down, no bases in reality.

- Forexpro: Re: $PPG Hi, Friends, A lot of entities were reluctant to see $PPG acquire Dutch rival Akzo Nobel, including the Dutch government. I've been short puts, and the news that $PPG is dropping its bid (which can't be renewed for six months) has generated sufficient alacrity to get me to my profit target. This has been close to reversing into a downtrend in recent days, and might still be worth a look, as discount rates, etc. now have to be recalculated based on the "new news".
