- rah: $OMEX @farview - I was reading the article. Looks like the recent find is insured by Loyds, (UK Gov. / War Losses) there probably is a finders fee, but still likely significant. The article did not say. The @Silver will probably be held as a governmental asset in some vault, not sold on the open market. They probably get to keep the uninsured finds (metal and artifacts). Again all very interesting.

- arrow: $OMEX - Popping out of volatility #squeeze and recent trading range, also moving above the 50 & 200 day averages. Speculation that the Gairsoppa find is really close. Also, with 11.6 million shares short, the short ratio is just over 15.

- Aragorn: $OMEX - @TNT - I noticed yesterday someone asked you for clarification of your wonderful expletives. At 3:01 the stock was at 3.18 when you posted bam - what exactly does that mean?. Are you talking about the huge 4 cent move it made out of a VS on a 3 minute chart. Please if you want to be read and taken seriously some decent commentary is required of you as an active participant in the forum. Please be specific explain why you like it and your thoughts. That is why we are here to help one another and to learn and get trading ideas. I hope this works out for you but I would have liked to know why you took this trade and why bam when it only moved 3 cents out of that #squeeze. GL
- arrow: $OMEX - New highs, riding the upper Bollinger Band. Announcement today of chartering a search vessel for the Gairsoppa, starting in July. The original agreement with the UK was in January 2010, when @silver was at $17. Today they revealed that official documents indicate 7 million ounces were on board. $OMEX will receive 80% of salvage after deducting for expenses. Also, it should be 'relatively' easier to find this ship, sunk in 1941, than finding a colonial wreck.
- arrow: $OMEX - stock is on the move, making new highs. The oral arguments in the Black Swan case went really well, maybe there is hope for an early ruling from the 11th circuit. (Black Swan is estimated in the neighborhood of 500 million, and $OMEX has possession.) The current movement may also be speculation around the current ship activities and possible very near term announcement of a major find (Merchant Royal). What could be better for a nice long holiday weekend. There is also a mining angle to this company, they are involved (early stages) in seafloor mining (SMS). This is an inherently speculative business, but a real one nonetheless.
- arrow: $OMEX - Looks like the oral arguments this morning, in front of the 11th circuit panel, in the Black Swan case went well. While no decision is expected that fast, this should give it some momentum.
- arrow: $OMEX - breakout and volatility expansion continues today.
- arrow: $OMEX - Now breaking through the pinched bands to the upside.
- arrow: $OMEX - trickle up continues, getting close to poking up above the pinched bands.

- arrow: $OMEX - This volatility expansion over the last month is still moving strong. Positive news flow, with additional funding to excavate an existing shipwreck project, along with momentum in the Black Swan case should keep this going.
- arrow: $OMEX - Big breakout today from pennant, expanding the Bollinger Bands. No immediate news today, but interesting Wikileaks aspect. Apparently the US State department was working against them in a court battle with Spain over a large treasure that's in OMEX's custody. (17 Tons of @silver coins, over 600,000, plus some gold.) The US was trying to get a painting, which was looted by the nazis, back from Spain. Should help $OMEX in the 11th Circuit Appeals Court.
- arrow: $OMEX - 11th circuit will hear arguments for their Black Swan appeal. Should give it a nice boost today, and continue its stair-step up pattern.
- arrow: $OMEX - (speculative stock) Breaking out of recent consolidation, stepping up to the next level on the daily chart. Continuing the ride on the upper BB on the weekly chart.
- arrow: $OMEX - (Speculative stock) Continuing its breakout today from consolidation in the 1.70-1.95 range. Weekly chart expanding out of its VS along upper Bollinger Band. Interesting story stock, they are professional treasure hunters. Big case vs. Spain pending in courts regarding 17 tons of @silver coins from a shipwreck (they have the coins now). Adapted their business model to partner with private equity firm syndicating deep-ocean projects.
