- champ: @champ $CF $UAN $NTR $MOS $IPI....I posted these 5-stocks this morning, at 10:28 and none of these stocks held onto their prices, they were at when I posted them..... ....Entry-timing is the only thing that counts....... and for those who are Full time investors, it is a little easier.
- champ: $IPI...at $36.50, I have a position because they are a little more diversified...and this move in this sector might continue...and I'm also watching these..$NTR $CF $MOS.

- Carpe_Diem: @jpoko13 $DAR - I have been following this sector and the fertz closely as NG is coming down. I'm looking at $MOS $NTR $CTVA (Mentioned this one yesterday) $IPI $ADM. $DAR looks real interesting to me RHRN.
- champ: $IPI..now at $$43, slowly climbing....they sell both Fertilizer and #Water...for the drought areas and also for the Oil-fields, fracking areas, can't frack for Oil without water .....could look at that Bloomberg post, for that drought info.

- champ: $IPI at $41.75...#Intrepid-Potash...is an under the #radar Bounce-Candidate.... because they have 3-divisions, they have other businesses besides their Fertilizer business and 1 of their other businesses is, they sell water to the Oil and Gas Services sector, in the Oil Fields, for #hydraulic-fracking......Check-out their 3 divisions. .....Their YTDHigh was $121.70 and they will be reporting their next earnings around 10/31.... ........Watch for Entry...because this Low volume stock can really move..
- maracom: I've been lightening up across the board this morning. Stopped out of $BFLY, sold $RUN for breakeven, sold half of $IPI, moved up my stop for $RIVN to AM LOD.

- maracom: I'm still pretty heavily invested. Came out down today but not by much. I've got covered weekly calls on $DVN, $APA. Solar held up fine $RUN $JKS. Ag remains in play $NTR $IPI $WEAT, still holding as it didn't really break support. The energy/inflation trade remains resilient. $RIVN is also bucking the trend, closed green while $TSLA is -4%. Days like today are super revealing for what's working and what isn't
- maracom: $CF $IPI $NTR Second round of selling occurring. I think its because of the Ukraine advance. Somebody is worried that Ukrainian potash is going to reenter the market, but that seems like a premature conclusion
- scottrades: Re: Fertilizer Stocks $CF $MOS $IPI $NTR $SMG Seeing a bunch of mixed news items that could be playing a part in the downward move. Could just be a shakeout, but this is what I've found: "According to CRU Group, European fertilizer producers in the region are currently losing approximately $2,000 for every ton of ammonia produced. Much of the fertilizer production in Europe requires natural gas, and it is being shutdown due to high prices."

- scottrades: @mhuie $CF $MOS $IPI $NTR $SMG Maybe, but they still have to buy Natural Gas as well. Also keep in mind, stocks in a sector or group tend to move together. I'm speculating here, I have not done fundamental analysis on Fertilizer or Natural Gas.

- scottrades: @mhuie $CF $MOS $IPI $NTR $SMG I'm mainly a pattern based trader and any analysis would be just on what the chart is doing. None of these are setup in high probability patterns right now for my style of trading. I would keep watching them near their 50 Day MAs and if they can firm up and go green, that would be a sign that they are being supported where they should be.

I did buy some $TSN and $IPI after their earnings in my LTA because I think Potash and meats will run up into the next season due to shortages, but that's more of a long term idea than a quick trade

I also follow $IPI. Kind of the little guy of the bunch and its not made as much of a productive move as the others off the lows, but my histoical observation on it, is that is usually lags and then makes a run to catch up. Its a bit more volatile thatn the others but if timed and patient, it can be a good one to make money on.

- champ: @maracom $CF $MOS $NTR $IPI #News...Nice post....I bought a year supply, for all of my needs because I have a huge yard....most Farmers probably did the same, plus they are cutting back, I know I did...on my grass and yard needs, I'm going 3-weeks longer. ....Most Farmers also take, all of the discounts from their suppliers/sales-reps and started buying larger quantiles because of the discounts and shipping cost. Buying habits are changing, along with cutting back costs, any way they can. I was in these trades and had many posts in the past on $MOS and $IPI.

- woodman: $IPI - I bought this back on the dip near VWAP in this last hour. It's volatile but it has been one of my most successful trading stocks this year with some very juice gains. The Ag Input stocks seem to be popping around earnings, as this one is today after reporting yesterday. It has pulled back to the 50d where it's still holding, just under some shorter moving averages. It's not out of the woods here (what is?), but the risk-reward is good on a potential percentage up vs down basis. Use position size to protect yourself because a failure to hold 3/29's low (a little lower than yesterday's low) would be a big percentage loss.

Several groups are near the highs $XOP $XME. $SLX. Ag. $IPI $MOS $DE. etc. Several with bullish set ups. in cyber $PANW $CRWD. etc. You can own them with trailing stops HMOs. another group. Pb bounces. Nh printers.

I think the stage is set for the new technologies to gain merit ( meaning , a real working alternative solution , not just a soundbite ) . Trading coal and oil is not my thing but having spent a career in each I'm certainly not opposed when the need is present . Sitting behind a screen is certainly less stressful than gauging tanks and handling explosive ingredients but they need hands at everything that is difficult to do .

For others , if you catch this on the heavy spikes ( volume is confirmation ) , as champ says , with some weight you can scale out and make some dough . I've done that a couple times just within the BO area and upper wick area . Be quick about it !

- champ: @snowbound $BTU $IPI ....need a little working capitol..to work with, maybe drag off 5% ..to trade with and then work that 5%, like it is 100% of your investment $$$, to get the feel, on how risk Really works..... ....the traders in some of these stocks, are working with very large size...like the $TWTR traders are doing. ....Traders are working large size in some of these ETF's also ...like $SQQQ, 10K or so, for a Core positions.....and then they are trading around that Core-size, with timings, with large size, but only if they feel that they have timings..... ................going into the close will be in play, for sure but which way is unknown, for Now, but #maybe-Not for later.
