- DAN: Raising the stop on $HAE I suggest raising the stop on $HAE from 59.90 to 63.80. This is an illiquid stock and that makes the trade a bit riskier than I am comfortable with. The breakout above $65 didn't go very far and I don't want to hold a thin stock in a weak market. Still...the price action is OK (though not great). So rather than shutting it down, I'm just decreasing the risk via a higher stop. --Dan

- DAN: Adding Haemonetics ($HAE) to the Active Trade List. Basis: 67.25 Stop: 58.70 $HAE is coming out of a long base extending back to December. It's been pretty volatile during that time, but the stock is squeezing now. As with all trades in this market, you should be scrutinizing every move you make. I am not expecting a dramatic pop here. Rather, I see the increased volume and I think the selling is waning, and there is some institutional interest that's likely to take the price higher. Some admonitions: Ensure that the trade is one that you like. You need more than "Dan suggested it." It needs to be your trade. Start small. Don't swing for the fences. Debeers (I think) was the one who was excited about HAE! Where are the other "hopers" that like HAE when it was going up?
- issues: I did my research and looked hard and long at $HAE and decided it would take too much time for it to turn positive. So I dumped it. All of it. At a significant loss. As Cramer says, "Its not where a stock has been, but where it's going." HAE is going down (at least for today). While the following are going up (So I bought these): $MITK $INVA $INSP $IIPR (Thanks for the Forum members who suggested these! Sher included!) I don't know what Debeers did with HAE but she probably sold it long ago. That's a good message for all in the Forum. It's easy to suggest stock to BUY, but we don't know (unless we have stops in place) when/where to sell them. $MTN is another good example. I'm not sure what it's a good example of but I thought I'd mention it. Snow?

Pristine sheet. Outstanding profit but you might not want to invest in a stock that is already up 70% and whose confirming target is about 33. I mean, unless you wanted to make money. $HAE-doesn';t a stock that is up 100% deserve to be on a growth stocks list??

They have no major competitor and enjoy a virtual monopoly in the disposables used in plasma harvesting. They also have stated they are challenged just to keep up with the growing demand for their products. Preferably I'd like to get it around $106.20 support but I may not get the chance. I'll be buying some at the close most likely.

Today it totally broke trend and I got out. Don't know why. $BEAT I also own, but sold half my position. This one is still in trend. Could be a good buy point. I will add when it bumps up a bit.
