  • gmj: $CRESY Hope someone can learn from this. Good trade - Bad trade.... Lesson Learned - bought this back in mid Dec around 5.50 added on the way up sold abv 7.50 .... bought back in with bounce around 7.00 ***BROKE ALL MY RULES*** added more at .50 increments on the way down when had the appearance of a bounce emotions got the best of me and I continued to buy until below 5.00 ... sold all at 4.97. What should have I done ? MY Rules say I should have set a SL below 6.85 on my buy back at 7.00 was blinded by my previous success and refused to see this thing could not get above the 8 EMA all the way down. 20+ % great gain turned into a 30 % loss. Lesson learned (won't do that again) beat myself up for 2 minutes then back in the saddle again. Hi O Silver !

  • emi: $CRESY - I've been in since around 7.50. Long term hold for me. Their #dividend is pretty hefty. I didn't know they paid a #dividend so I was pleasantly surprised to get extra shares one day. I should have added on the recent weakness but I sort of forget I have this stock. Political risk but like you say, it's cheap.

The chart depicted what looked (to me anyway)looked like a volatility #squeeze resolving to the downside. Today the stock is up strong and pushing the UPPER Bollinger band......is this a big positive, technically, or just an odd occurance? ======= Hi @kaliper. I really don't know anything about this company, other than it is an Argentinian company with cattle and farmland. I can't find any news on it, though I'm sure it's out there -- I just haven't seen it. Huge volume today, but it's right back up to the May high. I'm never comfortable trading a move like this if I don't know WHY it has moved. I'd suggest watching it for a few days. Hope that helps. @Dan
