- Boone.ruth: $CLMT working. Bought Friday and closing out for a nice profit
- Docoof: @Boone.ruth $CLMT Saw that. Nice!
- Boone.ruth: $CLMT bought a lot on this dip. This stock has worked well for me over the past month and have been able to make some nice profits buying here. $CROX also added some to my portfolio today because I’m putting them in 17 grandkids Easter baskets and fully expect earnings to be great again. Just my opinion. Other than $GOOG and $META those are only positions going into next week. Thanks for all the input and I hope Easter is a special weekend for you all!
- Boone.ruth: $CLMT remains my largest position in long term but I have also been in and out in short term trading. Nice action over last two weeks
- MongosPawn: $CLMT Bounce day 5. Now above all MA. Sold some into strength.
- MongosPawn: $CLMT They issued a 2022 year end update today. Nice bounce. Looks a bit similar to last September's bounce so far. Approaching overhead resistance.
- MongosPawn: $NAT $CLMT took a couple of bounce trades. Couldn't resist. Short leashes.
- MongosPawn: $CLMT Added small on the bounce. Tight stop.
- Boone.ruth: $CLMT down with many other things but great conference call this morning. Added more at this level
- Boone.ruth: $CLMT. Have mentioned before but continues to do well. Feelnluke I have some pretty trustworthy information around it’s growth potential .
- Boone.ruth: $CMG. Closed my position after hours for 1650. Just pick up a little at 1509 with a stop. Transferred those gains into $TSLA at the open. $CLMT is still working well and my largest long term position but have added on any pull back .
- sierramp: @Boone.ruth $CMG $TSLA $CLMT Very nice. $CLMT was not on my radar.
- GOOSE: $CLMT broke a triple top on the Point & Figure chart today when it hit 18.50, a strong buy signal.
- debeers: @Boone.ruth $CMG $TSLA $CLMT -$TSLA is a good buy and was at a good buy point.LONG

- GOOSE: A TRADE: $CLMT BTO STOCK @ 15.97
- MongosPawn: $CLMT Continuing its rebound. Now above the 50dma. Moving up stops. Thanks to Boone.ruth for bringing this one to the forum.
- Boone.ruth: $cmg $clmt. Closing all swings today to avoid being greedy and losing them tomorrow !
- vcondry: @Boone.ruth $cmg $clmt this is probably the right move. Tomorrow is literally a coin flip.
- Boone.ruth: $CLMT. I’m long from below. Have bought in on pullbacks but this piece of information is from a friend with close ties. For what it’s worth ..just thought I’d shaker I think it is. I’ve been holding and adding since we d ...

Poppy: $CLMT- 06:43 AM EDT, 04/18/2016 (MT Newswires) -- Calumet Specialty Products Partners ($CLMT) shares traded below their all time low in pre-market trade after the producer of hydrocarbon and fuels suspended its dividend and projected a Q1 loss.
$CLM ... - cmac: $CLMT adding back to my CLMT position this morning. Nice 17% yield, which was recently re-affirmed by the company. I also have placed an additional bid under the spike low from several weeks ago.
- cmac: $CLMT Calumet re-affirmed it $2.74/annual dividend for the partners. It's a specialty oil products refiner and is up on the day - which given the oil carnage, is good. Worth keeping an eye on with a 17% yield edit: no position, yet.
- DAN: @willhardee $CLMT -- no willhardee. Not on my radar. Volume is pretty low on a daily basis. But if you have some thoughts or ideas on that stock, please feel free to share. This is an "equal idea" forum. :-)

- Neil375: $ASH - Ashland - Good morning. The last few days I've been remiss in checking my scans. So, I'm late to the party. However these chemical company stocks are working. A couple more - $WLK, $LYB and $CLMT.
- wildfire3d: #yieldhogs: $CLMT - @jan2138 if you are reconsidering k-1's, what do you think about $CLMT currently yielding 9.5-9.75% depending on what price you use. steady or increasing #dividend last 5 yr. recently seems to have been dragged down by oil/gas. just went xdiv. reports feb 19 bmo.
- jan2138: $CLMT @ wildfire: $BBEP is the only k-1 in which I plan to get involved. As I said, I am using it to replace SDR, and it is one in which I invested awhile back so, I just needed to update my thinking. I wish the accounting were less complicated so my accountant would not complain. $CLMT has an excellent distribution history. However, the results reported for the last quarter indicated a big drop in earnings and distributable cash flow. You should read the press release containing that information. There were what appear to be a number of nonrecurring items, but if I were you, I'd wait to see what they have to say on 2/19/14 when they report pre market to see if things are back on track.
- bybyjanice: $CLMT, $ARII, ETN: All possible bottoms. $XYL is in a tight trading range, but it is at the bottom of the range. Happy winter to you all. Other notable bottoms: $ARII and TASR.
- bybyjanice: ARII: Huge correction like in early $NOV which proved to be a buying opportunity. I am initiating a new small position #RHRN with a tight stop. Cannot find any news other than downgrades. These thinly traded stocks are easily manipulated. I thoroughly expect $CLMT to do the same thing shortly.

- bybyjanice: MDR@fhsavidge: Many thanks! For the life of me, I could not figure out what happened. Maybe Carl is at their front door. He is welcome at my house anytime. I wish he would visit $CLMT and $XCO too.
- bybyjanice: XLU@jan2138: Sorry, I know it's not a hog, but once folks started to nibble at the hogs, I knew they would start to go for the utilities. It has been pleasant to be in something that just works even though the yield isn't huge. $CLMT, an $MLP, has also been nice.
- bybyjanice: ARII@tsogles: I am hoping for a $PB to the 50dma (daily). MACD and stochastics are telling me this will correct more. FYI: This is a C. Ichan stock. If you interested in #dividend stocks, there is an $MLP called $CLMT that has been working in this environment. They will benefit from the relaxation of the ethanol mandate.
- darce: New List @scottto et al - You have a few refiners in your list. I read somewhere last week that a leaked EPA memo stated that they would go easier on ethanol blend requirements in 2014. If true, the lows are likely in on all refiners...worth a shot. $ALJ, $CLMT, $CVI, $DK, $HFC, $MPC, $PSX, $TSO, $VLO, WNR...CVRR, $NTI and ALDW for dividends.
- ginny: $CLMT add to the done going down list. Well defined stop at 28.21.
- bybyjanice: XLU: Buying July 20th $38 Calls. I think this fixed income sell off is way over done. Interest rates will rise eventually, but not much #RHRN. The feds will continue buying bonds--they have no choice. Both of my MLPs, $CQP and $CLMT are bouncing off support. Another indication to me that they have corrected. #REITS, $MITT also climbing. $AGNC looks like it is forming a base, but after that poor quarter it is a wait and see stock to see what will happen to the #dividend. What do you guys think? Opinions welcome.
- mtnman: $CLMT @bybyjanice -Thanks - I was wondering what was moving this. It's a long term core income position for me and I wasn't selling but it was tough watching it fall with all of the other interest rate sensitive names.
- ccrown4: @mtnman OMG bought on the breakout and holding it as my indicators tell me it goes up again after this pull back. $CLMT was an alert for me at 1:30pm yesterday but I didn't enter because I wasn't near my computer. It's still a buy on longer time frame. I haven't posted much lately as I've got too much going on (home remodel) and expanding my trading skills. Also, if you are in $ATRS, it's still a buy on pullbacks. take care
- bybyjanice: CQP@Tim S.: I've been waiting for this to come back down to enter again. Missed the bottom but at least grabbed some shares at a decent price. Long $CQP also have $CLMT another $MLP that is down at the 40dma on the weekly.
- bybyjanice: CQP@Tim S: #Cramer has suggested $CQP over $LNG for some time now. Everytime they have done a public offering, it has been a buy. Sadly, I missed yesterday and I don't think a secondary is in the cards for awhile. I like $CLMT too, but it is not performing like CQP.

- dudemetro: $AGNC is getting murdered as discussed above by others. I sold mine for a loss due to support being gone. This is the first yeild hog I have quickly lost money on so far. Would you add to $PFE here it seem to be holding here at 50 day. Not a huge #dividend but stable and growth. Can you review $CLMT it is in the chemical space with a nice #dividend.
- davewells: EFC...the k-1 is a complication..i just picked up my tax return at the accountants and it is a cluster @#$%...i need to sit down with my accountant and find out how much extra i am paying as i own a bunch of mlps..just bought $CLMT on the dip among others..dave
- bybyjanice: MLPs: CVRR and $CLMT both up so far. Did the EPA provide a buying opprotunity?

- wildfire3d: $CLMT - i also bought for #dividend even though it issues k-1 and div is less than for a true "hoglet" as defined by the master of the hog sty and all things #dividend (@jan2138). i mainly did for diversity of hoglets. hard to find companies that actually make stuff. it has been very rewarding growth wise, so now the yield is even less. i intended to ask last week what others were doing. i sold part of my at high (top-ticked it that day, so that is the one time for my lifetime). i also sold some pre-earnings as part of my attempt at discipline, but only succeeded in buying part back, before next pop. this may be my chance to add some more. should i move it from the pig sty to long term growth account??...
- farview: $CLMT -rah and @wildfire3d thanks for the response. I will try to do some digging this afternoon and see if I can find a reason not to hold. This is one of my larger holdings and I have a tendency to look at stocks that have made me good money as friends. Bad Idea but there is a fine line between over trading and prudent trading. I will let you know what I find. @Paul
- rah: $CLMT @Wildfire3d - If you were referring to my comment about "forecasted growth" taken as an endorsement based on "growth" PLEASE Don't. My comment was merely to focus on the concept of - div. safety - which was a point brought to light as I randoml ...
- wildfire3d: $CLMT - rah - thanks - i was actually referring to the "unexpected" cap gain (50% since august), as i went into it for the #dividend and diversification of my hoglets. usually when yield goes down due to price appreciation, you start looking for other yield hogs. i am actually not sure how you evaluate its growth potential, since for many high-yielders cash flow is more important to sustaining #dividend. i am not sure about your sites, but some i looked at, almost immediately flag anything with a div over 5%, and by their advice most of our hoglets would fail. evaluating managements commitment to sustaining div is a pretty subjective analysis that i am not sure i am capable of. as i said before i am partially blinded by the idea that they actually make stuff.
- rah: $CLMT @wildfire3d - this is exactly why I don't depend on fundamentals as of now, it is truly like speaking a foreign language but I will get around to it... looks like soon would be good. I did do a quick check, as you suspected, you are right all the yield hogs do in fact have low ratings of "Poor". $GTT (55/100) $CLMT (41/100) $IVR (34/100) $NLY (32/100). Thanks rah
- farview: $CLMT -Refiners This one is also holding up. Nice #dividend over 7% Etrade has earnings 2/13. Long CLMT. sold CVRR yesterday
- cmac: $CLMT took a 1/2 starter position. Will add the other 1/2 if the stock fills the gap, or if it closes above today's highs. Good yield, good management, and I like the growth. Made a lot of money with $CLMT in 2012, but sold off my position in the Oct spike. Looking forward to making more $ in 2013.
- bybyjanice: CLMT: According to this article, this stock along with $AIG, $BTU, $CALL, $CTB, and $INTX are underaccumulation by institutions. Began a position in $CLMT yesterday. They are in the process of acquiring NuStar's refinery. http://seekingalpha.com/article/1071621-7-technically-undervalued-and-profitable-stocks-being-bought-by-hedge-funds?source=yahoo
- ccrown4: $CLMT broke out above a bull wedge coming into a #squeeze. This only has a .57 $ATR but it also pays a 8.1% #dividend for you #yieldhogs.
- ccrown4: @bybyjanice $CLMT Yes, volume is around 300k. I like the chart and I think their #dividend will increase. Currently only paying out 60% so they have room to increase back to 10%. Also think it will go up 10% in the next month.
- cmac: $CLMT selling off hard today. I may start adding back to my position around the 20sma.
- boba: $CLMT @cmac - Thanks for the post on CLMT. I did not know of the company. However, take a look at the 3 yr weekly chart. It looks to me like $CLMT could be ready for a significant correction based on it's past performance.
- murfields: SURPRISE EARNINGS--Last quarter 30% and over. And up-trending with gains over 30% the last 3 months: $LL, $CBM, $ELLI, $CLMT, $BANR, $SXL, $KORS
- cmac: $CLMT I'm taking 20% of my position off into this strength. Fortunately, I have a 25%+ gain, but I'm feeling pigish.
- ccrown4: $CLMT - congrats to all the hogs. Winner, Winner
- ccrown4: $CLMT - continues to hold it's ground. Stopped out on UAN.
- scorpino: $CLMT - thinking of starting sm pos, 8% div, opinions? looks like reversal candle on 30ema support???
- wildfire3d: $CLMT - yield hoglet gone wild. i dont remember who to thank for this one. i bought some as a hoglet, even though the yield was a bit light, because i wanted the diversification it offered. now i have a #dividend and a 25% profit in 6 weeks. so other than a "keep profit" stop, i think i'll probalby keep it for diversification.
- ccrown4: $CLMT - good morning, breaking out to @bluesky
- ccrown4: $CLMT - posted earlier, hod.
- ridgerunr: $CLMT very nice sqz
- farview: CLMT- Yield $HOG in a tight #squeeze and showing a little green on a down day. They are a oil refiner that makes a lot of specialty product's,waxes, asphalt and synthetic oils as well as fuel. Yielding around 9.3% they had a good quarter. My question is this being a $MLP are they required to pay out a certain % of profits? According to FINVIS the payout is 68.8%. Are we likely to see a #dividend increase? Long $CLMT and looking to add. @Paul
- cmac: $CLMT yield hoggers, the stock is selling down this morning, even though they had decent earnings. The co. recently upped their divy to .59/sh for 3Q. A better entry may be setting up around the 50 day, but with a 9% yield, I'm not sure it will get all the way down there. I nibbled a bit more on this morning's weakness.
- farview: $CLMT -I added as well. It is nice to have some high yielders in different sectors. $CLMT is in the refining business along with fuel, they produce a lot of specialty products.
- cmac: re $CLMT yes, that explains .56 of the drop. Traded as low as 24.40 this morning.
- cmac: $CLMT yield hogs, I'm adding to my starter position on $CLMT here. They recently raised their divy, and go ex-#dividend 8/1. 9.7% yield.
- cmac: $CLMT yield hoggers, this is a LP that produces a wide variety of specialty oil based products. I nibbled a small starter position this morning after they announced an increase to their #dividend to 9.2%. I had been watching it for more of a pullback - and will continue to do so - hoping to build a full position over time. Earnings are 8/1, but I imagine that this higher div is a prelude to decent earnings.
- hooked1: $CLMT - I was looking for some downtrodden yield and was surprised that Calumet Specialty Products (10.7% yield) was actually up today. I was hoping to get an entry.
- farview: $CLMT Had good earnings and also looks like insider buying. I think I will start a position here.
-
southern: $CLMT I am long Someone asked about this after the secondary. They were long. I found this from June 3rd From MM. Helped me to understand $CLMT a bit I hope this helps . he #dividend is now 11.63% will be paid late next month.
#Cramer's 'Mad Mone ... - Kevin-G: $CLMT - I have a starter position in clmt, didn't see anything is recent forum entries on the stock. Does anyone see today's pullback as a buying opportunity?
- Maggie11: I am long $CLMT a yield hog, has held up well the past few days. Also went long $HL another miner that I think got beat up to bad.
- gold2stocks: $CLMT -@jan2138 not Maggie - @Dana....I did some digging and find they currently support .495 quarterly on 1.98 annual for a 9.88% yielder. History going back 5 years has been pretty darn steady on the weekly ranging from .63 at the high in July of '07 to a low of .45 as recent as 11/09. .45 $AT 13.86 and .63 at 37.82 to the current price of 20.09......hope this helps..... $CLMT has this monster #dividend for chemical company. Low volume, insider buying. I want to see a pullback in the market so I can buy a bunch where the insidiers bought at least (low $17s).
ARLP - only a tracking position, waiting for a pull ... - hunter1473: $CLMT - Not sure whether this qualifies as a yield hog or not, but it does have a respectable yield. Price action looks good for the market we are dealing with. Would like to know what others think.......
- dkeigh: Great post, I like all these MLP's and have been in WPZ for a the last year. Another LP I really like is $CLMT (not in $NG trans space)It's a refinner with specialty chemical business. It has small float and not heavely followed but I think very undervalued. It's trading at 6X forward and the divi seems safe. If mgt gets behind this with some PR and coverage it could get great traction. #Cramer called Mgt out on his show but hasn't shown yet. Chem business doing really well so I think they are placed with the rest of refinners. $MLP status is unusual. Concerns with #dividend and hedge issues has retarded upside although the chart looks good. Let me know your thoughts.
- milt: Refiners moving up. Well on Monday I stopped out of my bottom fishing plays and today the thesis of oil down, refiners up seems to be playing out. HOC reported bad numbers and its up. big reversal. Looks like a tell on refiners being bought up by value players. $DK reports tomorrow $VLO already reported. $36 is where it made it on its earnings report FTO $WNR I bought some $CLMT that @Dan highlighted few days ago. Makes me think that it should catch a bid, since its a speciality chemical refiner. Now, of course if oil closes up two buck, who knows what will happen to these stocks. Anyone care to comment on the charts of these stocks.
