- issues: @bRobert $ARKG $ARKK so which do you like better? I am buying ARKG since the chart is pointing up as in Break OUT! while ARKK is flat. I also like the lower price and the holdings. $ARKG is up (on the 3 month chart) 4.5% while ARKK is only 3.5%. The holdings for ARKG include: $TDOC $PACB $EXAS $REGN $VRTX $FATE $IONS $CDNA $TWST $VEEV. Holdings for $ARKK include: $TSLA $ROKU $TDOC $SQ $ZM $COIN $U $TWLO $SPOT Since we already own TSLA ROKU SQ ZM in ARKK, and don't own any of the holdings in ARKG we will buy ARKG. PS Look at the break outs in $PACB $REGN $FATE $IONS!! Powerful etf! with these big Break outs!

- issues: @StockMarketMentor $CDNA Thanks. This CDNA is in the Medical products group (IBD group 34) along with $EW $QDEL $ABMD $ALGN and $OFIX. NP right now but looking real hard at a buy of one of them. The most interesting chart is $OFIX.

- DrScience: @Kasey $CDNA Assuming you bought on 2/4 at 26.55ish, and stopped out on 2/6 at 24.95ish for a 6.5% loss, you could probably chalk that one up to "That's trading." 20/50 Moving average crossover had not proved a reliable entry signal in the past. But, had you been trading from the one-hour chart, it may have changed your desire to enter on Monday. And, it would have also given you a tighter stop on initial position, and stopped you out a buck higher. Better entries are usually made when shorter timeframe is heading in your desired direction and intermediate timeframe is starting to leave the station relative to the timeframe you are using for decision to enter. The 30-min chart was still in a downtrend, and hourly chart was showing flagging momentum.
- Kasey: $CDNA Request for general advice for quick day trade. See attached pic file. I was about to try to short this stock for a very quick profit. I did not take the entry because I noticed gaps in the minute chart , seems to be related to low volume on some minutes. Although the stock has volume > 200,000/day. Is it common practice to avoid entry for this reason? Or would it not stop you from quick day trade entry? Thanks
- DAN: @Kasey $CDNA Hi Kasey. You were right to avoid shorting. The stock is extremely illiquid -- waaaaay too thinly traded to consider shorting. Never ever consider shorting this type of situation. And frankly, you should be very confident in the trade before ever buying a thinly traded stock.

- DAN: $MTCH - Keep an eye on MTCH for a swing trade. Also looking at $SRPT, $SQ, $CDNA $HQY. Just a lot of stocks that are coming off the bottom of their ranges. No telling how much headroom there is, but the buying is strong.

- DAN: @Cokeman1959 $CDNA I wouldn't buy it here. Volume is actually a bit heavier than average, but the stock really needs to tighten up. Very wide channel, which tends to produce false breakouts.
