- Wolf: @Henry $CHTR $CL $BAH $MMM $CHTR has 14% short interest as of 7/15 with 9 days to cover.. Could see a short squeeze.
- djgustoso: $BAH testing $160, earnings on Friday. Very long from way below.
- djgustoso: $BAH ATH today, my employer is doing well :) (they could be paying me more but that's a topic for another day lol)
- shoredriver: @djgustoso $BAH ....isn't 165 the ATH?
- djgustoso: @shoredriver $BAH Oops you're right my charting software was confused. It did open there last earnings report but then sold off. But right now seems to be at the top of the darvas boz
- bigbartabs: @shoredriver $BAH ... every time I see this ticker, I think "Sheep Industry ETF" ==:O
- scottrades: Someone mentioned $BAH in the webinar yesterday. Tight along the 8EMA. Clear resistance.
- Mounty: $BAH breakout
- bigreek42: $BAH nice move
- bigreek42: bought some $bah with stop at yesterday's LOD
- RD: @X802tp01 $BAH It could be a reaction to an IBD article saying BAH is an AI king, being the largest provider of AI to the federal gov't.
- Tlluride: $bah another play on AI. They have a lot of AI with government contracts. Nice chart, sideways consolation for the last couple of months. Look for breakout above 150.
- djgustoso: $BAH breakout above $150 after a multi month consolidation on big volume. Big position on this one since I'm an employee there lol. ATH and earnings in about 2.5 weeks
- X802tp01: @djgustoso $BAH what's the reason for the break out today?
- djgustoso: @X802tp01 $BAH no news... But the company is doing very well! This is evidenced by my small salary/raises but increasing charge rates to the government LOL
- djgustoso: $BAH @scotttrades @DAN Would this be a time to add? I have an already very large/outsize position due to an employee stock purchase program, but the stock keeps going up, and I'm bullish on our business (lots of government work, AI and technology focus, and with all the geo-political happenings, the firm will be employed by/winning contracts from DoD organizations for a long time).
- DAN: @djgustoso $BAH Just seeing your note. I haven't checked the news, but it's up a lot today on a breakout. Coming out of a squeeze here. If you didn't own any, I'd suggest waiting for a pullback...but since you've already got a bunch with a lower cost basis, I personally don't see a reason why you couldn't be adding to the position. But always remember that there is another side to every trade. Nothing is guaranteed.
- djgustoso: @phgruver @Henry $BAH $IBM Thank you for your responses!
- phgruver: @djgustoso $BAH I had the same problem when I worked for $IBM. I was allowed to purchase stock at, a 15% discount, with a certain % of my salary. Over my 23 years with the company, I built up an outsized position, relative to my other investments. ...
- djgustoso: $BAH Incredible earnings report, stock skyrocketed into blue skies territory. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how to manage this position (I have a ton of it as I am an employee with 0 insider information). Been buying and holding for almost 4 years and feeling like I'm getting a little greedy, but it just keeps going up (right now, my holdings in the stock are probably about 15% of my net worth, which seems.... imbalanced to say the leasT).
- Henry: @djgustoso $BAH I have a relative that is in the same business, much smaller company. The stock has been in an uptrend since 2012. I think it's a core holding, which I don't hold. The problem is you both work for them and have an outsized investment in them. Knowing what I know, you are probably highly employable if you got laid off. So the question is, should you rebalance? The simple answer would be yes, but over 10 years the stock is up 23% a year. If only every stock in our portfolio would do that. I'd hang in there. You have a winner and I don't see anything on the horizon that will hurt the business.
- djgustoso: @Henry $BAH CEO called it one of our best quarters in 10 years :)
- djgustoso: $BAH continues to rock after an amazing earnings report. Obviously hard to buy after such a prolonged run up... but someone is still buying :) FD- an employee with no insider knowledge; very long.
- Henry: $BAH @Woodman @digustoso mentioned this before, one of Edward Snowden's former employers. Beat $1.47 vs $1.25 est. TOS claims it is trading higher on earnings, buy are only showing 98 shares traded sadly np
- woodman: @Henry $BAH - Nice pop. Np as well.
- djgustoso: $BAH Continuing its steady blue skies ATH breakout. Trying to figure out where this one can go, and where I should set my stops? It's been a big winner for me buying and holding over the past 3 years as an employee (FD no insider information here, I just buy with a discount via an employee stock purchase plan). Earnings coming up soon 7/28 before market opening
- djgustoso: $BAH hit an ATH today. This is one of my largest positions (I work for the company, but have 0 insider information). Was wondering how best to manage this- on one hand, we like stocks that are making ATH and in the winner's circle, on the other hand I don't want to get greedy and too overweight in one position... any thoughts? Earnings coming up 7/28 also
-
Henry: @djgustoso $BAH Question, you don't have to answer out loud, but how much of your holdings are tied up in employee stock benefit or retirement plans. You don't want to be all in with your retirement assets and your investment assets.
If I look at t ... - woodman: $BAH on the move up again.
- woodman: $BAH pullback to 21/34dEMA area (weekly flag), now trying to sustain a move back above the 8dEMA. BBs are wide and volume low. This may have some work to do, but keeping an eye on it.
- woodman: $BAH moving out of flag/drift to 8dEMA, making another ath.
- swingbound: @woodman $BAH humbug
- woodman: @swingbound $BAH - bahahahahah!
- Docoof: @woodman $BAH Making a NH along with Industry Group pals $CRAI and $SAIC.
- woodman: @Docoof $BAH $CRAI $SAIC - I like the revival/reversal in $TDCX (I have a position). Reports later this month, possibly, though no confirmed date yet. (TC2000 lists TDCX, BAH and CRAI as Business Services and SAIC as Information Technology Services which can have plenty of overlap.)
- Docoof: @woodman $BAH $CRAI $SAIC $TDCX I agree. I only went with IBD’s way of categorizing them because IBD “stuff” is regularly referenced in the forum and by Dan, Scott etc.
- woodman: @Docoof $BAH $CRAI $SAIC $TDCX - No worries. TC2000 has its own way of grouping stocks - sometimes based on what I have no idea as there is so much overlap. I was just passing along the info.
- vcondry: @Docoof $ICFI $BAH $SAIC $HURN $CBZ $CACI $NVEE $CRAI $PSN add $LDOS to your group... competitor with $SAIC one of my buddies works for them...always busy also goverment/DOD contracts
- Docoof: @vcondry $ICFI $BAH $SAIC $HURN $CBZ $CACI $NVEE $CRAI $PSN $LDOS Thanks—and done. $LDOS has moved >10% up since mid month. Not too shabby. (I was going by how IBD categorized industry groups and $LDOS is indeed in this group.)
- Docoof: Industry Group: Commercial Services-Consulting. New highs today: $ICFI $BAH $SAIC $HURN $CBZ $NVEE $CACI Big move from ~250 (10/14) to today’s Hod 300.38. ATH = 313.52 $CRAI This looks like it’s heading to an ATH. Steady climb up of over 20% since mid September. Different Industry Group, but similar to $BAH is $PSN: New ATH today.

- vcondry: @Docoof $ICFI $BAH $SAIC $CBZ $HURN $NVEE the wife hires quite a few contractors for $SAIC so far no slowdowns this year with them. A lot of government contracts.

- djgustoso: $BAH Had a bullish engulfing candle on 3x regular volume on Friday (9/16) on the daily chart. Long, might get a little bit longer.
- djgustoso: $BAH continues to do well, seems like it goes up on up days and on down days it's down ten cents. Very near blue sky territory but $100 is logical resistance, will be watching closely. I have my stop at around $94.40 but feeling really great holding this one

- djgustoso: @Docoof $BAH ATH is $95.93 and earnings are this Friday. I work for this company (but have no insider information, I'm one of the lower level grunts haha) and I have a pretty big position (relatively for my own porfolio; been my best HODL position). Hopefully, a good report, the last two haven't been that good, but perhaps we're due :)
- steve71: $BAH $PSN Similar charts and business plans. Both widely outperforming the major indices. Both located in VA for easy access to their #1 customer, Uncle Sam. But the question is, how does Paul Pelosi like them?

- djgustoso: $BAH Strong performer in a volatile market, been up against this $90 level for a long time on the weekly, but I think it has legs to go if it can close above $90. Maybe an sloppy looking inverse H&S pattern (I might be reaching on that one). FD- this is the company I work for (govt contractor consulting firm, seems that the war in Ukraine is boosting sentiment for the sector)
- djgustoso: $BAH --Full disclosure, this is the company that I work for-- Not in a position to know anything that any other lemming/cog in the wheel doesn't, but the company is doing very well (messaging from higher levels); stock is at an ATH and running along the upper BB. I guess it's probably hard to buy here, after running from 85 to 94 in the last 8 or 9 sessions, but might be something to keep an eye on or start a starter position in. Long from below. Not one of the sexier momo stock names, but if you look at the weekly chart, besides March of last year when everything tanked, this stock is consistently in the winner's circle, a name you can just buy and forget about, check and its made you money (also offers a little yield of 1.32%)
- JosephM: $BAH..52 week high, good volume, tight
- greenpatrol: $BAH triggered an inside week and up today at 88.92
- lostsheep: $BAH consolidating a big move on earnings near ath as the 8 catches up to provide some help
- lostsheep: $BAH an inside day and up also a flag trigger giving a little here
- tnt: $BAH printing a higher low off the 200 day ma looking good for a low risk long entry. I am buying stock.
- Cokeman1959: $bah anyone in this? Above all three moving averages, and it does keep making higher lows on the daily.
