- Henry: @Mike2025Trader What Dr. Sci said, plus it is a counter trend trade. You have to be right on the direction and the time frame on things that are not known today. Option positions are not stocks, you should not be $X of options if $X is what a stock position would be.. Especially so if you are an option newbie. Yes it's a hedge if it works, if it doesn't, it's a loss.

Nippon is going to invest in new technology and more jobs . National security risk is total bullshit . Worst case scenario in some national security the military takes over the plant and sends the Nippon management home .
- woodman: @DavidK $X - And I like the idea of not being *forced* to by a car from one of the American manufacturers. If I choose to, fine, but not because I've been priced out. Frankly, the track record for Amercian cars is not good. I'd consider an American truck if I were a truck guy, but I am not. They're cool, but not for me. My 2003 Honda minivan with 210,000 miles is still running, as is my 2007 Infiniti sedan (only 100K miles, though).
- DavidK: @woodman $X I currently drive a 2008 Toyota Tacoma I bought new after trading in a Range Rover Sport . Had 2 Mercedes and 2 Range Rovers back when I was rolling in business ventures . When things got ough in 2008 timeframe in real estate I said enough of these expensive cars and I needed a pickup anyway . I will keep this Toyota until it falls apart . 155k miles on it now . My wife has a couple year old Toyota Highlander and it drives better than any 85-100k car I have ever had . And I think it cost mid 40’s when she bought

I had to back out of Member/ Member last week because of back issues . Did play this sat with son and some of his buddies. 39-35 so I was pleased considering haven’t been able to practice. We did have some swing oil that made it beetle on my back . Going to the pain Dr Wednesday. I have lumbar arthritis and Lunbar Stenosis. Basically nerve damage and shoots down leg . I told chiropractor I am too young to not play golf so somebody , somehow is gonna make it better .Younger brother has same issues . Mom had bad arthritis. Anyway I have always stayed in shape gym wise so hopefully Pain Dr can help .

- Henry: @Bs7518 $X I would sell it here. There aren't going to be any more bidders, they already shopped the company. The question is will the US allow one of the largest steel companies to be sold to Japan. It's going to be months until we know the answer to that.

Anyway , speaking with a car dealer ( ford, Chrysler, keep ) that has about 5 dealerships sat about business , he said it’s terrible . EV’s , a joke . Another business owner said things were really slowing down . So take it for what it’s worth . Clf supplies lots of steel to autos .
