- Henry: @manrodmar10 $SHOO @Debeers is our fashion expert. You have to take your glasses off and squint real hard to make a cup and handle out of it. It is a breakout on earnings. They forecast $2.55-2.65 for full year earnings. Wedbush and Tesley decided to put out price targets just before earnings of $41 and $44 Clearly they are wrong. I don't think it is overbought, but the safest thing to do is to wait for a retest of the breakout.

- natural: $SHOO at a strong support level, stop under $34
- DAN: Adding Two Stocks to the ATI List -- $NAIL / $SHOO Two stocks that are working pretty well. $NAIL -- one that forum members have been all over. Basis: 44.30 Stop $37.86 SHOO -- One of the folks in the intraday webinar asked about SHOO. It is in a very nice squeeze, though it hasn't quite broken out yet. So I'm adding this as a "conditional" stock. Basis: 36.18. But I think the best approach is to wait for a breakout above $37 before buying. But the stock is running up along the 50-day moving average so I think it's a well-defined risk. Stop: 35.20 (So I guess you could call this a nail in a shoe. It's happened to me, and it was really painful. Hoping that this will be different.) Have a good weekend. --Dan For a complete list of all Active Trades, click here: https://stockmarketmentor.com/active-trades-list/ .

debeers: $BOOT vs $SHOO-I respectfully disagree with DAN on these 2 stocks and here's why.

$KSU, $EOG, CPNO, WYNN. I also like $RVBD and $SHOO b/c of a same dynamic.

The first one is the potential H/S on the weekly chart of the S&P that everybody is watching. On the other hand there are many bullish inverted H/S on the daily charts. NETL, $KSU, $ICE, $EOG are good examples. Some other examples of inverted H/S ON THE DAILY CHARTS are $JAH, $CRM, $WYNN, $SHOO, CPNO, GOOG. Oh and my fav $ISRG
- Russ: Shopping list These stocks are very near or above their 50dma and may be candidates for lower entries in the days to come. $CMI, $UPS, $NUE, $MED, $SHOO, $AAWW, $ANN, $TKR, $RBCN, APKT, $VCI, $FORR, $TEL, $DSW, $UCTT, $SNDK, $FWRD, $ESL, PII. Several of these have given strong guidance for the next quarter. I'd be interested in more suggestions, esp for uptrending stocks around the 50dma that have already reported earnings in this round and that have acceptable fundamentals. Good weekend to all. Russ
- msnccash: $SHOO @Dan, how do you buy into a stock that has just split? I listened to your "3 Stocks on TV" video and was ready to start a position in $SHOO but noted that it had split. Is there a different strategy for that? Thanks.
- Medlar: $SHOO - not @Dan, but I see it split 3 for 2 yesterday. That's normally considered bullish. The important thing is to check your chart is split-adjusted before making any decisions from it. If it shows a high of 40-ish for $SHOO on Friday you're OK. If it's 60 the chart hasn't been adjusted.
- normr: $SHOO - Split tactic. I wait at least 5 days after the split, looking for a pullback to support on the daily and my secondary indicators signaling a trade. I'll wait up to 8 weeks past the split for this condition to set up, using the split as a trade catalyst. I am watching $ARO, $AAN, NETL, and $SHOO right now for post split trades. $GMCR, $GIS, and $CLB are on my radar as future split trades. Trade well ! Norm.
- bert953: $SHOO - Heard about this on Bloomberg radio on the way home yesterday. Looks like its breaking out of a vol #squeeze on the weekly.
