- joelsg1: $EXEL Sold half, drug testing partner $BMY threw anti-cancer money at $AGEN instead, GS cut to sell.

- Max115: $AGEN On the move
- Max115: $AGEN Anyone follow this stock?
- scottrades: @Max115 $AGEN This is the first I've seen it. Wild move! Be careful on these BioTech stocks.
- Max115: @scottrades $AGEN I hear ya and agree, Thanks
- issues: Looking over the IBD 50 I see some interesting choices among which is $HASI. I like the chart. Looks like a potential break out from a volume squeeze. NP Some other that look appetizing are $YETI $CORE $INCY $AUPH... and $AGEN
- Max115: @Dan $AGEN Would you say this is phase 2 I know the bands are wide and the 200 is above the 50. Your thoughts? Thx
- DAN: @Max115 $AGEN I don't see a squeeze. Just looks like a "flag" pattern to me. Three buck stock. PRetty risky...but it is definitely a big mover. That's for sure.
- Max115: @DAN $AGEN Thanks Dan. Still learning :)
- issues: Cramer had the CEO of $AMGN on with a drug for migraine headaches. Prospects look good for AMGN. But comparing others in the Biotech world (IBD group 81) $EXEL $BSTC $VRTX $ALXN $AGEN $INVA. On a 10 day chart the best is $AGEN (way too high at +50%) then comes $BSTC (19%) $INVA (19%) finally $ALXN and $AMRN both 15%. On IBD 50 is $INVA and $HZNP! Just looking at the charts some are toppy and others have room to grow. NP yet. Will buy something mannana!
- Max115: $AGEN ,$AMRN. Does anyone have any input on these stocks? Thanks

- TRICIA: $AGEN & $INCY http://finance.yahoo.com/news/incyte-agenus-announce-global-alliance-120000273.html---- This is a big deal for both companies ... JPM next week there will be much discussion! AGEN tiny position INCY 1/4 positon ... wish I had more money ....lol
- Tricia: $ATRS @Woodman and MoneyHo ...... @Larry Smith ... the pimp of NWBO? oh and how about those $AGEN research (pimp & pump) reports ... gee I think $AGEN missed the top line study for lung ca..... so look at this way, when that prevaricating, arriceptic needing stock pimp says BUY ...... RUN FOREST, RUN!

Tricia: ...
Look, the whole cancer immuno therapy space with one trick ponies is being questioned ... I am short $NLNK from 49.39, and yesterday I shorted $NWBO at 7.76 .... $GALE and $INO are $3 &4 tickers - probably not worth the short .... $AGEN, $ONTY an ... - Momentous: $AGEN - take look at this one too. I went long on this about three days ago and it is up about 15% on good volume. I think it appeared in a $CLDX story. It might be done so be careful. I added this morning but have a tight stop on some of it.
- hooked1: $AGEN - Sorry, this is late but it could see another 8% up to the declining, yes, declining trendline. THey have a very promising technology to boost vaccine response in the works for malaria. So far, nobody has been able to come up with a vaccine for a parasite. Tehy recently released encouraging P2 data. I'm looking to get out around $4.35
- Kai: Susie: What is your expectation for $AGEN after today's gap down on disappointing news? Thanks Kai
- CallaLilly: $AGEN - not Susie, I think she stopped out for technical reasons. Some buying based on the other drug and Russian approval, some talk of Russia becoming a medical vacation spot. Nice take on VFCStockhouse blog but the prospects are dismal.
- CallaLilly: GENZ - Xoma is insanely predictable. Something happens and up it goes. It has issues with holding above 90cents. Over and over until you are bored. This is a nice entry, under 80cents and chances are, yawn, it'll run up again. And again. Nice easy free money. Of course as @Dan says, until the one time it doesn't do it. $HEB - I entered this Thursday for about five minutes and about 10% - in at 1.84 out at 2.00 (my math is so wrong), watched it go to 2.13 or so and fall Friday to about 1.87. Yawn, oh yawn. I don't follow GENZ because it's a large company and disappointed. $CTIC - April's a long way off for approval and I strongly prefer $AGEN and ONTY. Sorry I confused $HBAN for $HEB, which I really like toying with. I don't follow HBAN. But it's probably weird too.

$AGEN (common): Capped at the 50 day is a breakout over $2.50 I am early to the trade and will likely exit even. It printed black today which whispers warnings.

I am holding $CBG, $NSM, $MBI and $AGEN in my portfolio and I did add to them on Friday because I felt it was opportunity. I am not usually one to trade on Friday's. I am stalking a number of other stocks and re-accumulating gold. Little adds to g ... - CallaLilly: Suzie, Well, not sure about that, lol. But thank you ... Look at $ONTY (cancer vaccine) breaking on through. Not sure how long it lasts but the group is en fuego with $AGEN the laggard and I do believe that $MELA is possibly going to stop toying with moving hard. I know ... $SVA is gathering itself to thrust hard. I think today's slowdown may have been related to other companies getting vaccine approval. Good night.
- CallaLilly: $AGEN - squeezed so tight you might think it's got an FDA event coming up.
- CallaLilly: $SQNM - I have, among a ridiculous amount, $GNVC, that I think along with $AGEN and $ONTY will save lives and really make a difference, and it's up 11cents on no news (and on a stock that started today at .78, that's really a lot). I think that the Labor Day-ish events are compelling.
- CallaLilly: @jng369 - $IBB is the $ETF and it's probably a smoother ride than picking individual stocks. I'm doing a basket of individual biotechs and it's hard to hold them. They move on rumor and, many people and writers believe, some level of manipulation. Th ...
- CallaLilly: Biotechs - I'm kind of hating them today. It's a hard trade and keeps on being humbling, for me anyway. I think they require a level of patience that I may lack. It's kind of all hope until they become Big. $GERN, $ONTY, ALTH, $DNDN, NEPH (up one penny, pretty little thing), $AGEN, ANDS, $CYTR, $DSCO ... I wonder if $IBB would be smoother? GERN's end of July earnings were as awful as most of the biotechs - Geron reports Q2 $EPS (23c) vs. consensus of (19c) Reports Q2 revenue $183K vs. consensus of $800K. Watching $JAZZ and $CRY today. I just can't get it right here with them. But when one of the respected writers does a serious article, it moves the stock (of course, event days too). I can't see how to do this other than throw money at red or black.
- CallaLilly: @JimMac, Thanks ... just curious how other people deal with these firecrackers. I'm in $AGEN (secondary today, expected), ANPI, $SQNM, BFRM, $CVM, $CYTR, $DSCO, $GNVC (love the potential), $HEB, NEPH. I thought I'd do a basket to keep track of them and that I can add/subtract depending on events. $ONTY has moved, yes.
- fredsfreedom: Callalilly - We know the automotive parts produced by @DAN and $LEA work. Do you know if $AGEN new drug will?
- CallaLilly: $AGEN - Antigenics is moving higher on speculation that the European Regulatory Agency may grant approval for Oncophage. I think biotechs move on speculation, important dates and approvals. Hard work to hold them but often suitable for a trade. Especially lately.
- Tim: $AGEN Just reported a very positive result in a cancer drug test. A 46% higher survival rate for liver cancer I believe it was. It was a 73 cent stock at close of market Friday and the ask now is 1.07
