Lazydays ( NASDAQ: LAZY ), more than just what summer weekdays are for, or weekends are for, a lot of laziness out there.
This company is buying Burlington RV. Nice to be buying the company, I don’t think I would even rent one of those things. This is why the stock is up so much, a nice little squeeze over the last couple of months. And then finally, boom, look at this news, it’s awesome. The stock absolutely spikes, typical volume.
You look at the average daily volume, about 126 thousand shares traded. Suddenly today, everybody is into RVs because it’s 1.1 million shares traded, so this is a massive, massive, massive move. It is up 8.25 percent, a massive move on this acquisition of Burlington RV. Wow, I have never seen anything like this, that’s not why this is up either.
The reason it’s up is because the company is getting added, on Monday, to the Russell 3000 ( INDEXRUSSELL: RUA ). And so all those index-tracking funds, they’ve got a fund, and people actually pay it, to track the Russell 3000 ( INDEXRUSSELL: RUA ). They all had to buy this stock today so they can have it in their books on Monday when it’s added to the Russell 3000 ( INDEXRUSSELL: RUA ).
When you see these kinds of moves the first thing you have got to do is look at the news, because it’s not just, huh, I wonder why volume was up like 700 percent or something? You have to look and see what the news was because it can help you stay out of a bad situation and it could help you get into a good situation. So that’s what’s going on with Lazydays ( NASDAQ: LAZY ).
