Here’s how you catch up on the market during the day…and make money! (June 29, 2016)

You’re probably wondering why we’re looking at this. I’m going to go through some charts. I’m not sure that I’ve ever done this before, and that is, highlight how our forum works. We’ve got a pretty active trading forum during the day. This is custom software, you’re not going to see it anywhere else. It’s sortable, by if you want to just want to see what I’ve written, for whatever reason, you just click on Dan and, Boom! There it is. You can also search by tickers. I want to just show you how that works.

First of all, you see I’m clicking back and forth, we’ve got Option Market Mentor posts here, Stock Market Mentor posts here. So I’m looking at these various tickers and if I want to see, for example, what somebody said about T-Mobile (by the way this is a rigged issue because I’m the one that made this post), look at T-Mobile ( NASDAQ:TMUS ) here, click on this, looking very much like a cup and handle. If the stock clears 44.00 that pattern would be really bullish. “Okay, well Bob, lets go to the tape.” This is what I’m talking about ( NASDAQ:TMUS ). These are the type of trades that you can get. I may or may not cover this in my Strategy Session, probably will tonight. But as I’m rummaging through stocks I’ll post stuff like this, and so will a lot of other traders. So as I’m looking at T-Mobile ( NASDAQ:TMUS ), yes, I’d say a move above $44.00, and this would be a longer-term trade, a move above $44.00 would be a buy signal. You can see this thing has been trading sideways forever, right? Well it’s also paying a 7.6 percent dividend. I would be happy to be getting paid that amount of money to just sit there and hold the stock.

Lets look at some others here; we’ll look at Trending, and same thing here, lets go to Johnson & Johnson. Okay, we have, in Option Market Mentor, some long calls on this. And what had been suggested on Option Market Mentor is to sell some upside calls and hedge that position. So we look at the chart ( NYSE:JNJ ) and you can see what’s happening with Johnson & Johnson ( NYSE:JNJ ). So this is a pretty good trade that we’ve got going on, and we’re hedging the position. Again, it’s a type of stuff that you can see in the forum everyday. The other thing is, lets say you’re not really noticing a particular ticker here. And by the way, this is Single Line. If you want to, you can go ahead and click on this for Full Post, and then you don’t even have to click, you can just go down here and read; a little too unwieldy for me. Lets say you just kind of want to see what’s happening. You’re working, you’ve got a regular job like most regular people, and you’re coming into the forum, you just kind of want to see what’s going on. So you can click this Show, look at Trending, and you’ll see all the stocks. By the way, you can look at this and know whether the market is up or down, you can see all the stocks that are being commented on in the forum and then go to those particular stocks.

For example NUGT ( NYSEARCA:NUGT ), this is a stock that I’m very long, it’s a triple ETF and this is not for a short-term trade. About a 200.00 here is really what I’m looking at when this is all said and done, and I mean that. So if you want to know what’s happening there, you click on the tickers and you can see that. Also, WIN ( NASDAQ:WIN ), I’m just kind of going through this stuff, you hover over here, you can also see the chart. So we go to WIN ( NASDAQ:WIN ), the daily chart, this is working. Burlington Northern ( NYSE:BURL ), I saw this stock today and wanted to post it in the forum, you can see the chart here, the window that’s hovering over there, it’s a breakout, which is just what I mentioned here. So we go to the chart, and this is what I’m looking at, ( NYSE:BURL ), kind of a cup and handle type pattern here.

My point for going through this is not just to give you some good trade ideas, which I try to do here, but also to show you the value of our intraday forum. You know my videos come out after the market is closed and that can be frustrating for some people who don’t have time in the evening. So if you go to the forum you can check out some good trade ideas. I’m there, and I’m not the only guy posting trade ideas, there’s a bunch of them. There’s a bunch of good ones too, some very, very short-term trades for you day traders, short-term swing trader types, and others. Stuff like the tobacco stocks ( NYSE:RAI ), which I’ve mentioned several times, like ad nauseam, and this is a good buy point right here.

So if you’re wondering what the point of this video is, here it is: Buy Reynolds American ( NYSE:RAI ). Stay long AT&T ( NYSE:T ). Look at $44.00 on TMUS ( NASDAQ:TMUS ) here, on T-Mobile ( NASDAQ:TMUS ) and note the big dividend. Burlington Northern ( NYSE:BURL ) is a breakout here, this is something that you want to be watching too. And of course Johnson & Johnson ( NYSE:JNJ ). Hey, if you’re long those calls try to sell some upside calls against it for a hedge, maybe a diagonal spread, and you’re good to go. So there’s a lot of things that you can get on Stock Market Mentor and Option Market Mentor just in the forum.
