Sprint (S) continues to work for us. Just a few pennies a day makes a big difference for a $6 stock. (April 04, 2013)
SI’m Dan Fitzpatrick at StockMarketMentor.com on Thursday, April 4th. I want to continue to track Sprint ( $S Sprint Nextel Corporation ) here. I talked about this in the last week or so as it’s coming out of this volatility squeeze. Low dollar stock, $6.21, not a big deal when you move only a nickel, right? Well, it’s almost a percent, so here’s the thing. I still don’t think it’s too late to buy Sprint ( $S Sprint Nextel Corporation ). What we’re seeing here is, we’ve got the squeeze and then we’ve got a couple of flag patterns here, a breakout, and then a pullback on modest volume, and then another breakout, and then another pullback on modest volume. So my suggestion would be, go ahead and stay long this stock, as long as it stays above the middle Bollinger Band here, which is the 20-day moving average; then I think you’re good to hold the stock. There are other telecom stocks that are working and they’re working quite well. Members I go into a couple of those in the Strategy Session along with some other things that I actually haven’t covered in a while, so I want you to get over there now.
