Dan, I prefer less trades and high consistency too. In fact, I dont even take every one of your trade. I do my own due diligence as well. Don’t worry about all the different opinions, just stick to what you do best.
Dan.-thanks for the update. Even though I did not take the put spread trades becauase I do not yet understand them, the update explainations help the light bulb burn a little brighter. Like the other requests, please update GS. Thanks again.
DIS closed @$4.40, yea! profit! Dan is the prophet of profit.
C my stop is at $0.37, I still don’t like Citibank for personal reasons, I know they do not treat customers well but it doesn’t stop me from monetary gain.
AMZN, APA – I am not allowed the double put cover, Bull Put spread. Just as well as I am still nervous about this more exotic opportunity.
GS – I got in at $4.95. I still squinch my face every time I look at the trajectory of GS. I hold on judgement. GS is another company I do not respect. I do not like their apparent involvement in the US Federal Government monetary arena and GS involvement in Global-Warming taxation, waiting to exhale.
PBR – missed the initial suggestion last week but I was able to get on the train this morning (Feb 14, Happy Valentine’s Day!) at $2.50. Petrobras could be nascent giant if the government of Brazil (or Brasil) keeps to a silent partner relationship.
Bull Spread – I am frustrated because Schwab will take 5 months before increasing my Level 1 to 3 to allow me to place Bull Spreads. Can anyone recommend a reliable broker who would give the require level promptly as I am missing opportunities. So at the moment I can only take partial advantage of Dan’s advices.
Monis – I recommend Zecco.com. Option trades are $4.50 for first contract and .50 for each additional contracts. Make sure you carefully answer questions about your option trading experience to avoid being in the same situation you are now. Brokers think there is a correlation between your years of trading and the level they put you. I personally disagree. You are not picking options out of the blue. You are a member of optionmarketmentor.com under the guidance of the best mentor ever – Dan. Happy trading and goodluck. Here is link if you need it. https://www.zecco.com/raf/
It might be because you’re trying to go up 2 levels. See if you can get faster approval for level 2. You only need level 2 for spreads at Schwab. It only took a couple days for me.
Monis – ThinkOrSwim doesn’t have any “levels.” If you have an account, you can trade whatever you want. Interactive Brokers is also a good one. Their commissions are the lowest I’ve seen.
Dan I justed wanted to let you know how much I appreciate OMM and the way you handle the trades. It makes what could be a very uncomfortable learning experience not only tolerable but profitable. Thank you for your patience and experience. OMM, as far as I’m concerned is a jewel and the only way to go. P.S. You to Gary, thanks
Dan, I think this type of update is very helpful. If you could do 5 or 10 minutes in aggregate every weekend on the open trades (as well as those closed in the past week), just running through your thoughts like you did here, both the newbie and experienced option trader would benefit from hearing what you have to say. I think many members can infer your thinking as we backward engineer a stop placement that comes in an e-mail format, but it is very comforting to hear even 20-30 seconds commentary about each position – we like it when the mentor speaks. Great work!
So when do we initiate a put on Netflix? With the froth today, this bubble stock has to be ready to correct? Is it not touching the top end of the bollinger band?
Anyone else having issues playing the videos? This is the 1st time this has happened. I also wish they were viewable on the iphone, but I don’t think you can view ‘flow player videos’ on an iphone.
No problem playing the video. It plays fine now on my iPhone. If you have issues, try reloading the web page. Then wait at least 30 seconds before pressing play, to allow time for the video to load.
By the way, Dan’s videos for OMM and SMM are now viewable on iPhone / iPad. Thanks Dan and Gary!!!
DAN: When can we expect the OMM forum to be viewable from iPhone / iPad? Many of us would like forum access when we’re on the go or traveling light.
Any updates on GS trade?
Awesome, totally awesome! I caught the DIS pop. Thank you so much for all you do.

Any update on GS?
Dan, please comment on the GS trade.
I didn’t close DIS before earnings, and doubled my initial investment. Sold at 4.50. Thanks Dan.

SWN – I sold early, got back in, and sold again. 2 good trades +7% and 27%. GS has plenty of time.

i think this would be great if you have the time to pull that along with other trades too. meaning id like updates, but i like new trade ideas more.

Hey Dan could you please change the format of the videos so that it could be played on the IPhone. Thank you
