- champ: @bigbartabs $SPXL $SPX $DJI $SPY $UDOW #Thanks...OK...got it on $UDOW, however I mostly always Trade off of positive News, like that #Powell-news, so I will watch $UDOW, along with my $TNA and $SSO positions and I'm also still holding $IBIT and $NUGT, for Now. ....and all are Bounce-Candidates, with the MarketsIMO, could be both for shot and long term now, because of that New...positive-Powell-news.. .....and $TNA, this small-cap ETF, is a #huge-lagger... and now appears to be spring-loaded and is only Waiting for the Markets, before it mades its next move and I'm looking at 2021, when it was at $114 and all the others are back at around their highs...$SSO, $UDOW and others. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ However I expect all kinds of zig-zags, as I wait, to add-onto my ETF positions.

Quote....rate-cuts are imminent, so it is a done deal now...because he can't go back now and change his mind. ....The market believers.. now believe, that the Markets should have a #Pre-Market-move, a short-term-move, into the next FOMC Rate Cut Decision, on September 18th, around 16 Trading-days from now........... ....Thats the current market Set-up and always have to expect zig-zags along the way............. ..........Swing Risk-on, Game-on, will see how it goes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: $SSO $TNA...the Markets have been waiting a long-time for #Confirmation of the first Interest Rate cut......so Now we have to believe what we were waiting for, from Fed-chair Powell, because he said, the Time-is-Now....and now the Next guess only is, will it be a 1/4% cut or a 1/2% cut...and he left that up in the air. .....So forum members should know, that all the Retail Investors and Traders will be active on Monday, meaning the guess is, they should chase.....because the #News-flow over the weekend will be positive, for a rate cut, on all the News-networks over the weekend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- champ: @joelsg1 $TQQQ $SSO $TNA $BOIL ......For me, the way I #played-it was, I started moving out on Monday and finished taking profits on the stocks that I wanted to sell on Wednesday...because of that upcoming #Options-Friday day.....and the outage sure helped my New entries on Friday near the close and also today on the open......and I was posting all last week about #Options-Friday......however obviously know-one knew that those outage were going to Pop-up...however I never wait until the last last day, I never wait for Friday...and I did hold 12 positions into Friday....but none were in the tech sector. FWIW

- champ: @Matt0311 $SSO $TQQQ $XOP....For now, this is how I'm working...because this is #FOMC-day ...I don't have any stops on these ETF's, because they are dancing around, zig-zagging....... ....I'm just watching...is all I'm doing, watching the Sectors and the Markets....... ....and I had nice entry-timings, so I should be OK....until 14:00 ET, and that is the FOMC timing and then Powell will start his News Briefing at 14:30....... My eyes are in play today....I'm #eyeballing.......and I will harvest some profits at some point.....and I might even take down positions. Good Luck!

I'm in the camp that recession is still on the way, and that the summer bear market rally was just to suck retail back in before a big draw down, which I think is beginning to play out ... - scottrades: Good morning Team! Markets are up following some good Econ News about PCE inflation data. This is a key metric that The Fed looks at and when the news came out we saw little change in interest rates and traders are still betting they will not raise ...

- Bert953: #Mr Market.First time Ive done any trading in a few weeks. stops are taking me out today. $AAPL $ADBE $SSO $UWM $DDS only $DDS was a loss, thankfully small.
- scottrades: @Docoof I think the market is looking great here, though we're a few minutes from the close. Yesterday was a nice high volume Follow Through Day. Today is a bit of a quiet rally but if you look at the 1-hour chart on $SPY, it looks like a high handle. We do have Jobless claims tomorrow along with Core PCE and then Non-Farm Payrolls and ISM on Friday which could make or break this move. I still think you can be long the indexes, or leveraged versions of them, like $SSO or $QLD with a partial stop at breakeven and another one under yesterday's low.

Keep an eye on $SSO and $QLD for an opportunity to grab on to the market if it does come back above the 8/21EMAs.
