$SMH -- this is a tracking ETF position. The trade is still profitable by 5.30. But I think there is likely to be more downside. $SMH -- Up just 5%. I expect the underlying ETF on a sector that is working will underperform the best stocks in the sector. We've got AVGO, $AMD and $LRCX. They're working. This trade is good for a trader who just wants to have sector exposure. ... - DAN: Note that $AMD is starting to go into Phase II pullback. Looks like it's hit a short-term peak to me. The other semi stocks are doing ok, though it also looks like $SMH might have hit a bit of a "climax top" and could rest or retrace a bit from here.

- phgruver: @Docoof $NVDA $AMD $MU Not sure what you mean. $MU is a mfg. of chips and is one of the holdings in $SMH. According to the WanEck WEB site, $MU accounted for 3.26% of $SMH holdings. They mostly make memory and logic chips, though, so they are not a competitor in the CPU/GPU market.
