- champ: @Preacher $SDS $QID....I was trading $UVXY and $UVIX today...because these ETF's covers all the volatility, that is in all of the other ETF's that are in the Markets.....and so does others like the $VIX.

- ruskinq2: @Preacher $SDS $QID $VIX I had built up huge $SDS sept 16 C position over past couple weeks and on Wednesday I couldn't take it anymore and was ready to bail underwater and almost did, fortunately Thursday came with that fugly candle so I held in there and unloaded today, also had $VIX call trade courtesy of Sam (thanks Sam!) which I sold out as double. I still think we are far from done, so looking to reload if that opportunity arises (still in Sam's inflection point $SPY trade)
- ruskinq2: $SPY $SDS so we made the stupid new high, (the cherry on top of the quadruple top?) and now down under prior high, my life is complete now... loaded up on cheap $SDS Jul 18 calls for insurance on whatever craziness evolves on the weekend and next week

- StockMarketMentor: If anybody is so inclined, you could consider shorting $SPY here. It's likely going lower from here. $SDS is the ultra-short, and just shorting $SPY gets the job done without leverage. Short $SPY with buy-stop at 576.35, or... $SDS stop at 20.20 And/or...you could short the Q's, which are also likely to pull back more., Shorting the $QQQ with a buy-stop at 493.20. Or...buying $QID (inverse short ETF) with a stop just below 34.50. Just spitballing. --Dan -Dan

We closed our SPY puts for 3X and still have our SDS and QQQ postions on and took 50% and 75% partial profits. Yes, we have some losers at OMM (who doesn't?), but when it comes to hedging, I know my stuff. Got OMM? If not, come on by and give us a try!

We closed out the one short (bullish) put position expiring Friday for a 91% profit in six days and also took our first target of 50% profits ... - champ: $SPY...it looks like this drop is going to continue into the close, looks like reversal-day off of yesterdays ATHigh..... ....however the $VXX $UVXY is flat......... ....$TZA $TZA $SDS $SQQQ....now I'm watching these ETF's, for direction. Due for a pause but we're gonna be attacking the all time highs again very soon, I've bought multiple times in the last week and a half and I'm very overweight precious metals right now. #Trading: Long $NUGT $WPM $UNG $COIN, Short $SDS -Booked profit on $SDS and $NUGT this morning before the weekend -Had a $8 covered call on $UNG that will expire worthless -$UNG is just getting started, seasonality will be kicking in into the end of the year -Follwing @Scottrades with a $COIN starter #LTA: $DVN $FTI $FCX $NEM $GLD $SLV -Half positions in $DVN and $FTI. -$FCX reported good earnings but is still under pressure from decreasing demand in China for copper.

- champ: $UVXY...this is Day-5 on this ETF and the first move today fell back and Now it is trying to move back-up again, I'm only holding this ETF for now. $SQQQ and $SDS.....however could also Watch both of these. .....#Uncertainty is back in the Markets and #if the Markets continues this drop, these type of ETF's will be in play....and these ETF won't move straight-up on any drop, they will only zig-zag-up.

Stop is a close above $454 on $SPY $UNG downside gap yesterday, at the bottom of the trading channel, may get close out half if the close is bad $FAST break of yesterday's low, considering closing this one down, will wait for the close #LTA: Long $XOM $DVN $CTRA $FTI $FCX $SLV $NEM $MOS $AA $SLV Got stopped out of half when it fell into the gap yesterday, will repurchase at a lower basis $AA had a large volume buying spike a few days ago, made it above the 20sma, pullback to the 8/20 crossover today, taking a starter. $FTI running out of steam, sold a $21 Sept covered call for 0.25 #Watching: $SCHW for 100ema restest

Short: I closed my $NVDA bear call spread before earnings and re-opened a Sept 500/510 BeCS after on the pop after earnings, might get stopped out of this if we close above $500 on the way to $1200... Lots of bullish sentiment on the indices so I'm ... - maracom: Bond yields still surging, $TLT testing the Oct 2022 lows. The $SPY and $QQQ were are very different levels back then. I've got a bearish outlook on the indices and looking for a head and shoulders to go into the $SDS or $SQQQ
