- DAN: Active Trade Update Adding Rambus ($RMBS) to the Active Trade Idea List. Basis $72.34 Stop: $69.70 The semiconductors are rocking, and I've been watching this for a while. Looks like it's about to break out above a multi-month base along the 50-day moving average. My suggested stop is just below today's intraday low...though that's only for shorter term traders. If you like building bigger positions, one way to get started is to start small here, and be willing and eager to buy more if the stock pulls back to a better entry along the 50-day moving average. (With that said, even the current price is pretty favorable with respect to the 50-day moving average.) The market is strong. - scottrades: Good morning Team! $SPY is opening up around the 420 range which is a pretty notable level for anyone who is looking to sell or short this market. I mentioned to Dan last night that isn't also a pretty obvious level so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few tries and the short get squeezed, Dan said that could cause a bit of a chase of prices higher. So pretty important to pay attention if you're trading in and out of positions. It's also monthly OPEX day and that could force some re-balancing. If you've been in the market and active this week you should have some cushions built up or have been making some sales into strength to lock in some gains and take the pressure off your account. Currently long: $RMBS $KTOS $RIOT (small) and $ON
