  • woodman: $RKLB moved up over 70% from bottom (200d) on 11/21 to top 12/12 which took it up through the 50d. Over the last 3 days, it has pulled back to test the 50d as support. On watch for potential move back up. This market doesn't make me all that optimistic, but who knows. Minimally, it needs to hold the 21dEMA ($52.14 currently).

  • billyzeke: Watching $RKLB here for signs of running into supply. Up 17% in 24 hours gives me the itch to sell.
  • woodman: @billyzeke $RKLB - quite a V recovery off the 200d in November. Up about 64% in 3 weeks. It has another 20% to go back to its ath in mid-Oct (~$74). I'm still holding, though I expect an ebb soon, perhaps a pullback to test the move through the 50d.

Interesting late-day and after-hours action this afternoon/evening taking the stock right up to the overhead 50d now, which I said I was watching (for purposes of adding to what I bought last week around $47.50). We'll see what happens tomorrow, but I saw this info from yesterday: "The stock jumped 25% over five sessions, closing Monday at $51.56 after heavy trading. A key boost came from the Neutron 'Hungry Hippo' fairing passing tests, opening and closing in just 1.5 seconds under flight conditions—a milestone for the 2026 launch. Analysts back the momentum with 'Buy' ratings and targets up to $66, citing Neutron's potential in satellite launches and defense contracts, even as the company works through delays and profitability challenges."

I have spec plays in certain areas that dropped biggly over the past 2 months and appear to be recovering, so good news for the ones I held. Every day in the markets is an adventure.

I'd be happy to sell half of my position right now for 75, so I sold the $75 10Oct Covered Call on half my position at 0.69 premium. I'm comfortable riding these into the end of day, then will re-establish a high stop loss at the end of trading if these go out worthless.

  • woodman: $RKLB - keep an eye on this. Nice action today, but it remains in consolidation. It has been consolidating for the last 2.5 months or so, but the volume has been heavy over the last half of this consolidation period, and the rising 50d has been support for about that same half of the period. Perhaps this may spell a breakout on good volume if it breaks out. Others in the group are making some nice moves too.

  • StockMarketMentor: Rocket Lab ($RKLB) is breaking out. Strong move today to test established resistance. Great closing location value near the high of the day. I don't like to recommend trades after hours because things can change, and it's not a good idea to guess. But I'm just pointing this out because it may present a great opportunity tomorrow. In Las Vegas now. It's pretty dead. Our driver says that they got too greedy. Charging exorbitant fees for everything and treating people like they were made of money and would spend, spend, spend. Um, that's now how things work these days. Gotta know your customer, and they missed the mark. Great for us...because this is business and we don't gamble. --Dan

  • woodman: @jonwest88 $RKLB - Pan out and look at the wedge/consolidation it's in. Flat top from 7/17 with ascending bottom from April low. It's right on that ascending bottom line, above the 50d, and holding the 20d area. This could resolve either way and is deeper into the vertex than I'd like, but I am holding mine still. I'd also note the "rockets/space/satellites" group (as I call it) is down almost entirely across the board today. In any event, this could easily resolve favorably out of consolidation. Or go south out of it. Either way, though, the current candle as I type isn't a decision-maker for me. It's stil in consolidation.

Look for my posts identifying tickers in the group because many are working very well. And add $GILT to the group (which I have separately posted on as part of the Communication Equipment industry).
