- Jon Poland: @camaro69 $RIVN Trend line show resistance at 19.60. RIVN hit 19.60 this past Friday and then immediately dropped down. It followed the same pattern in the last 30 minutes -- up near 19.60 and then back down again. I've set an alert for a move through 19.60. Hopefully, RIVN can make a move higher if it can get through that trend line resistance.
- StockMarketMentor: Adding Rivian ($RIVN) to the ATI List. Here's your pop on Rivian! Looks like third time is the charm for this assault on $18 after yesterday's washout on double average volume. Basis: 19.00 Suggested Stop: 16.72

Most stocks on the ATI List are all status quo. One thing to note is that $RIVN is down just a bit today after a monster run. I'd expect some backing and filling after a 10% advance yesterday that capped a 44% post-earnings pop.

- StockMarketMentor: The stop was hit on $RIVN for a 4% gain. Bought on the 10th at 16.60. This stock bears watching because the rally started on a much better-than-expected earnings report. So, there is a potential for a continuation of the move. Still, a 4% move in a couple of days is better than nothing. --Dan
- Bert953: @StockMarketMentor $RIVN Anecdotal evidence, Im seeing quite a few Rivians and also Fisker Oceans on the road here in NY. I believe @Dan says he's behind the wheel in a Rivian.
- DAN: @Bert953 $RIVN I like it. The one thing that cracks me up about it is that it's actually a big box on wheels...with a powerbooster that takes you from 0 to Jail in about 3 seconds. And since it's a box, it is the last thing from aerodynamic. So that acceleration really makes the darned thing jump around on the road -- which is the exact opposite of my wife's tesla X. I think it's fun...but Jennifer hates it. Go figure.
- joelsg1: $RIVN delivered only 32.5k vehicles in 3 Qs this year and doesn't drive me around like my Tesla Y, with approx. 1.1M sales so far in 2025. My sister-in law has a Lucid Air (10.5k sales) which is fun to drive but also not autonomous.
- phgruver: @DAN $RIVN Interestingly, just the other day I saw a RIVIN pickup truck re-charging at the Tesla charging station. What caught my eye was that it was just an ordinary looking pickup truck. I would never have guessed that it was electric....

- DAN: @Bert953 $RIVN Mine has 400 mile range. Since I'm basically running around town, I'm good. I really liked my Rover...but they always have problems. And I don't care if a problem is under warranty. It's a PITA to deal with it. Time is money. The 2026 charges at Tesla chargers. 2025's and pre-2025s require an adapter. I just plug mine into my wife's charger. Easy.
- DAN: @joelsg1 $RIVN Rivian SUVs are boxes. They are barns. They have 3 rows. But you can fold the seats down flat and play football in the back. It's so spacious that we could rent it out as a room...only there's no bathroom. ;-)

I really like them and almost bought one...but then my wife reminded me that I don't ever haul stuff around and would only want one to make me feel manly. First test is here or close for both of them - i.e. ~34dEMA where they found their footing last time when they fell to around that level.
- StockMarketMentor: We are up 8.5% on Rivian today. Basis is 16.60. To protect gains, I'll raise the suggested stop to 17.25 to lock in a 4% gain as a worst-case scenario. This is what we like to see -- a stock that blows out of the chute like a bucking bull and quickly confirms that we are right about the trade. We can then adjust the stop so that we take a loss out of the equation. As I have mentioned several times, I drive a 2026 Rivian SUV and love it. OK. So what! But what is important is that I am seeing more and more of them on the road...to a point where I'm getting a bit irritated. It's not as bad as all the white Tesla Model 3's buzzing around...but still. My vehicle is no longer unique. And that's good news...for $RIVN! --Dan

- joelsg1: $TSLA $RIVN beats delivery expectations by a whopping 711 vehicles delivering 14,183 and stock jumps 21%. $TSLA misses by about 10k vehicles delivering 495,570 and stock craters over 10%. Please. Canaccord raises to $404 based on 40x 2027 eps of $10.11 which seems low with as they put it the "generational set of growth opportunities ahead".

- vitoB: $RIVN even Im not gonna jump in front of this one but, it has now fallen from a spike up to $179 to $9. which was clearly insane...but 95% down on a name which I feel will last. i dont know how low the bar is but earnings on may 7 are really far away, all buy side analysts have targets way above, so cut and maintain buy rating nonsense should start around then..just watching if it closes above vwap ill consider a starter.
