Our stop on this was hit a couple of days ago at $472. The stock rebounded yesterday and gapped even higher this morning, but it quickly reversed when it banged against the 50-day moving average and is now 2.5% lower ... - jkbricco: @DAN $POOL So VERY well said! I have had to completely adjust my trading strategy in order to be successful in this market. Be water, my friends. Be water. What worked yesterday may not be working today, but could possibly work again tomorrow. Take what the market will allow you to have. If you get greedy, this market WILL punish you! Other than that, stay safe, and trade strong!

Posted here when it wsas 400 dollars and, with nhousing strong, i figured that those who had pools wouldn't give them up and those who could would amortize the cost0 overf the life of the loan and made enough to be happy. Most of the time we don't need to swim upstream. You are so right because even increased cost of chlorine and pool supplies have their growth limits.

$POOL -- Stopped out at $472 yesterday. Loss was about 3%. Nothing wrong with holding this stock, but the trade was based on a 50-day moving average support, and it didn’t hold. Like the Space Station, when refrigerant low, look for leak, that is the problem. Low refrigerant is the result; need to fix the problem also. Otherwise, back in a week,month to add more. A good AC tech will look for the leak; A new AC tech will add refrigerant and leave; A salesman disguised as an AC tech will tell you your system is old, need new one. A great AC tech will find the leak, show you, fix it and charge a small amount. Good luck.

- lostsheep: @rythm $lesl $pool Same sector different setups. $Pool gradual drifting into the daily 50 which has been a place to buy in as of 6/21.Not sure how seasonality effects this group as we in the Northeast are moving to the end of of the summer season. $LESL is not a beautiful technical picture but a counter trend trade off a technical reversal and trading back up through the current range and pivot points as upside stops are hit much like stops in the other direction. Not married to it but will take what it offers. All the best to you.

- Pokersmith: Pool Earnings, Sales Surge in Q1; Raises 2021 Earnings Forecast Range Pool ($POOL) reported Q1 earnings of $2.42 per share on Thursday, up from earnings of $0.75 per share a year ago. The consensus estimate of analysts polled by Capital IQ was for earnings of $1.21 per share. Sales rose to $1.06 billion during the period from $677.3 million a year ago. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ projected revenue of $825.7 million. Looking ahead, the company lifted its full-year 2021 guidance for earnings per diluted share to a range of $11.85 to $12.60 from a previous forecast for earnings per diluted share in the range of $9.12 and $9.62. - tartan: I have shown $POOL and $AMD before and now I am showing $CPRT This is a good Risk to Reward pattern ( IMO ) It centers around the 200 EMA and the MACD Indicator I use the numbers 1 - 2 - 3 to illustrate the pattern and then I use the 50 EMA as my Target Even though the Moving averages are above the price The MACD line is above the Signal line Not a set up to use if you are looking for a Home Run But a set up for a little Swing type trade
