- scottrades: @utex72 $META Yeah, the amount of Risk you're taking tells you what your R Value is. You should have a tolerance level for entering your trades. Usually it falls within a range. 1%-5% for example. It's just a different way to measure risk vs reward. Dan preaches about "knowing your numbers" so you should know, or have it built into your written trading plan. That way you're consistent in your entries and you know what to expect. You don't want to enter a trade where you're risking 15% to only make 5% to the upside. So it keeps you above water.

- DAN: Active Trade Update Consider taking some profits on Meta ($META). The stock is down a bit today but it looks like $360 is going to be formidable resistance for a while. As noted last night, we've got a 4R trade here, but it doesn't count if you don't book some profits. I will keep it on the list for tracking purposes, but I suggest keeping just a small position and taking this W. Note that holding until next week gives you a big tax advantage; but it's not my job to be making tax decisions for you. - scottrades: @psrfriends Some stocks that are on the list are still actionable. I think you could act on: $SN with a 6% stop loss. $META with a 6% stop loss You could also buy $AMZN today which isn't on the list but looks good. Again, I'd consider a 6% stop. You need to determine your own position sizer based on your account. I'd likely consider a 1/3 position to start because 6% can be a lot to give back on a new entry, then look to layer in and move up that stop as it rewards you.
