- scottrades: @pijboh It depends. My thought has been that the GBTC Fee makes them uncompetitive and that is one of the reasons we are seeing such large outflows. I like $FBTC and I know Fidelity has a long history of experience in Digital Assets, they also care about the technology. Here are some top ones to watch: $IBIT $FBTC (as mentioned) $ARKB and $BITB Did you see the Fidelity Webinar I shared the other day?

I have been thinking of switching but haven't done so yet. I would expect GBTC will eventually lower their fees if the outflows become to large.

- wijimmy: @woodman $ibit @bigreek.. $FBTC... before the open yesterday I read $FBTC has $20 million in assets and a 500k float.. So, I divided 500k into $20 million and came up with $40 a share { if that is how it works } so I was Happy buying it at 40... now that being said ...the $20million in assets was when BTC was at 46,500.. from what I understand..All the ETF's are tied to the value of #BTC and will move together
- woodman: @wijimmy $ibit $FBTC #BTC - I deleted my post because I was misguided. I can see that they should be pegged to #BTC which should give traders some bearings for the spot ETFs. But I haven't stepped into the spot ETF pool yet.
- bigbartabs: @woodman $ibit ... buyers of the new ETFs are betting that the new ETF market will bring in easily invested money, that ultimately ends up as bitcoin demand. In the end, if that is the right thesis... more and more bitcoin itself is bought... all within a perpetual cycle of a highly limited resource. The new "gold".
- woodman: @bigbartabs $ibit - I know little about crypto, virtually nothing. Am I right that there is a finite amount of Bitcoin? I'm still waiting for my Tulips ETF to turnaround.
- joelsg1: @bigbartabs $ibit One of the reasons for promoting Btc is it's scarcity, but now with the new etfs no longer scarcity in trading vehicle derivatives. The bitcoin miners earn their Btc by processing transactions, with fewer transactions to process they earn less, and the upcoming halving makes it half as profitable for them to process. Miners had a big run into the etfs approval, but are now falling like rocks. So, for me the value depends on increasing actual Btc exchange transactions. It seems the new etfs should increase exchange transactions, but clarity lacking. We've seen what happens when derivatives multiply without proper mooring. Just saying...
