Similarly, I see the 21 day Ema for $GLD at $253 ish but the etf is down to $246 (and I see the 50day at around $243). What levels are you looking at to trigger $GLD?

Gold is another asset to watch as China’s stimulus notes emerge. Although they paused purchases recently, the PBOC was the biggest buyer of gold in 2023, following an 18-month buying spree. The breakout level for $GLD is 247.40.

- RichardinME: @scottrades $GLD, BTC I was glad to see Dan cover this as well. $GLD typically has not been very rewarding but now it's outperforming BTC and equities at least this month. Trying to get into to $GLD but does not look like it's going to pull back! Also seems that gold might have the same price action as Bitcoin. Might do very well late this year and most of next year. But at some point inflation will be "reported" as being lower and gold could dry up. Also, Gold is not rare like bitcoin. If it gets to 3000 seems there would be motive to mine more.

The Dollar is breaking down and just touched December 2023 levels, that’s been positive for $GLD and $TLT which I’ve kind of been pounding the table on for a while now. Take the LA Port fiasco that occurred... perfect example of how bad it can get in that sector.

- RichardinME: @champ $NUGT #News-trade I don't think this all do to tensions. Gold/GLD have been in an uptrend for a while but have not been as rewarding as Equities and Crypto over the years. I think it goes higher based on the charts and weak dollar alone. I just wish I did not sell my $GLD OCT calls Wednesday after a CPI. For me it's harder to pay more for something two days later.
