Bitcoin is seeing some continued volatility to the downside. To be fair it basically went straight up for 4 months, so while the pullbacks can be sharp, it’s within character. I sent out warnings to CMM Members last week about what looks like ... - PTinME: @Henry $COIN Thanks for the input. Had seems I should have used a stop and gotten out at 127. Think I will go against the grain and keep the position as until earnings, it seems the only thing driving the price is spot bitcoin. If that picks up a bid then Coin should get dragged along with it. Just a little scary as it seems I'm the only one on the board that is long.

- PTinME: $COIN Good weekend all, Seems everyone has stopped talking about this stock. I'm seeing it's broken the 50 at around 129. Does this mean it's a broken stock? Earnings are over a month away so perhaps it will trade with bitcoin? Anyone else long this stock?
- Henry: @PTinME $COIN It's high was $187 so a $60 drop qualifies as broken for short term and swing traders. The BTC ETF approval has been a debacle especially for the miners. Will they make buckets of money from the the holder of BTC for most of the etf's? That's what the talking heads are saying. In the meantime the only catalyst is the BTC Halving in 89 days. I bailed the end of December. The 200 ema is $100. I think it goes there before it thinks about seeking new hights.

- Henry: @PTinME Is it $COIN ? It's 130. It has failed the 50 and it could go to the 200 ma. I don't understand what is pushing the new ETF's down but it seem to have spilled over to crypto. Maybe it's as simple as sell the news. TOS doesn't let me buy or sell before 8 am. Volume has to be thin between 4-8 am. I understand the fundies that COIN is going to hold most of the ETF's bitcoins. That doesn't protect it from a big price drop. I would keep it on a very tight leash.

- Henry: @sierramp $COIN This is my 3rd attempt to reply. I was in COIN late so I took my profits in that and $MSTR. This is the hard part of trading, you want to hold the stock longer to get more profit, You want to protect your gains. You can set a stop so it's not a losing trade, but you give up most of the profit. You can set multiple stops, but if you don't have a big position, is it worthwhile? If people get scared, a stock like this can drop 10-15% in a day.

- DAN: @Margi1983 $ARKK $COIN Coin looks really good. Hard to buy here b/c you'd be chasing it. But I think the stock will continue to run because of the resurgence in crypto. As for $ARKK, it's always a bit of a canary in the coal mine -- both ways. It's the speculative traders dream (not a bad thing...just a thing). When it's really weak, the NDX is also weak. They run together both ways. When the NDX is strong, I like to look at ARKK and $FFTY -- two pretty distinct ETFs, but they all run together. Here's the comparison chart of NDX/ARKK/FFTY.
