  • Margi1983: @BarryC $BOTZ #FWIW Nice chart. Resistance coming up close at 27.04
  • oldtimer: @sccottrades $AI may be moving because of $SYM %2B46% today as I was looking at $BOTZ and this one popped up
  • oldtimer: @scottrades $BOTZ - new high . . Scott . . thoughts on starting a small position
  • scottrades: @oldtimer $BOTZ I think a 3% stop makes sense on a starter.
  • Nepenthe: @scottrades $RBLX $BOTZ $AI $SMH Seems like the Semis and AI suffering a bit today. All falling below their 8ema's. Out of both ($AI and $SOXL) FWIW. Cheers.
  • vitoB: @Nepenthe $RBLX $BOTZ $AI $SMH $SOXL ... yea my good feeling on $MNDY turned into how i feel on mondays
  • geothrills: $BOTZ - Pullback bounce right off the 8 day EMA. Hard to buy this generally slow moving ETF when it's up nearly 2% on the day, long from way below. But LOOK at those green daily volume bars over the past few weeks, some of the most consistently massive upside volume I've seen, relative to the issue's averages.
  • Docoof: #FWIW $PATH The 11th biggest holding in the $BOTZ ETF. $PATH is also the second biggest holding across the entire Ark-Invest complex and is the only stock held in all of its ETFs: $ARKF $ARKW $ARKX $ARKQ $ARKK $ARKG. $PATH reports today after close.
  • geothrills: ...
I also want to draw attention to $BOTZ (chart attached). Notice the exceptional volume bars over the last several days, as this artificial intelligence oriented ETF moved up and out of its volatility squeeze. Also note the stacked moving averages, ...
  • Docoof: @geothrills $BOTZ $QQQ $SPY $UBOT Fwiw, $UBOT is the double-your-fun version of $BOTZ. Keep an eye on $SMH, $IBB, $BIB, $BLOK, $BOTZ, $HACK. We’ll want to watch $TBT as well and $UUP as the headwind.

Bitcoin is chopping sideways, and I like that it’s trying to find support above 25K. The Weekly chart is interesting becau ...
  • geothrills: $BOTZ - This AI-centric ETF walking up along its 8 day EMA. Pretty tight squeeze that is gently pushing higher.
  • scottrades: @rmacron #AI I like Google in the AI Space. I just think they have so much of the world's information that it's a no-brainer. There will be other leaders come out but if you want broad-based exposure you could consider $BOTZ
  • Forexpro: @scottrades $BOTZ #AI Thanks Much, Scottrades, Yeah, $BOTZ has quite the chart, doesn't it? Kinda makes me wish that I owned some as of mid-March (I didn't), but I expect that I'll have to take a few starter shares. I think that this industry has some legs. Happy Friday, and all the best!
  • traderbren: @scottrades $BOTZ #AI - agreed, especially with Googles acquisition of DeepMind some years ago. I never understood why folks were counting them out in the AI race....after botching the their presentation some months ago. Long $GOOGL
  • Docoof: @scottrades $BOTZ #AI Intersting: $GOOGL/$GOOG isn’t a holding in the $BOTZ ETF. https://www.globalxetfs.com/funds/botz/#holdings

Just to be clear, this is my Watchlist NOT a "go out and buy tomorrow list". I will post any action IF I take one. • BarryC: Here's my Watchlist... Some #ETF's - Some Stocks: $ASAN $AXON $BOTZ $IGV $CARZ $FSLR $IOT $KTOS $NET $NOW $OKTA $RBLX
  • BobG: @BarryC $ASAN $AXON $BOTZ $IGV $CARZ $FSLR $IOT $KTOS $NET $NOW $OKTA $RBLX #ETF Nice patterns on several of these! I'm adding alerts on all the wedge patterns.
  • geothrills: Market is looking pretty good as we grind into the last hour on strength so far (literally every sector/major ETF I track, with the exception of GLD, is up today.) I've added a little more $SHOP as well as some $AI to the books. $BOTZ looks to be very close to a breakout, and I expect $AI will outperform on a %-basis. Keep in mind the market is still quite volatile and has been suffering from gaps at the open, so I would still continue to trade relatively conservatively... but also be mindful that the odds market for a rate hike at the next Fed meeting indicates a pause. With the SPY looking to close above 400 again, and possibly even above its 50 day moving average, it's important to be prepared for a potential upside breakout after the last nearly two months of consolidation.
  • geothrills: $BOTZ - Pushing toward the top of its range. Coiled moving averages. Hot sector.
  • gig1: $BOTZ Breaking out on volume to multi year high. Added here and long from lower.
  • spmeyers: $BOTZ / UBOT -- Robotics/AI ETF, watching for phase 3
  • bsafriet: $BOTZ $AIEQ Two ETFs that @bRobert posted about a while ago. $BOTZ made a nice move today and $AIEQ has been doing well. For us techies. And if your checking in @bRobert, I hope things at home are improving and that we see you back here soon! Your contributions are missed! Best wishes!

  • sleepy2076: Started a position on $BOTZ for long term hold, and will add on PB. It would be great not to worry about earnings and such, and good exposure on AI and robotics.
  • Bridget: $BOTZ seeing some buying here
  • geotheo: $BOTZ $ROBO In 4-5% squeezes near their 50MAs. Robots & AI and Robots & Automation respectively.
  • steve71: $ROBO $BOTZ Yes, the AI/robotics ETFs again. Both have pulled back to their 10 dma lines, which have been good buy points. Both are up 50% on the year, so the tax bill could have consequences re profit taking. Will wait to reload until there is some green on the screen.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO $TWX Trimmed the robotics/AI ETFs by 25%. Kind of extended now, but would rebuy on a pullback. $TWX All in.
  • ROSEY: @steve71 $BOTZ $ROBO $TWX THX for posting RE $BOTZ and may I follow your re-entry? What price R U looking for?
  • steve71: @ROSEY $BOTZ $ROBO $TWX Hi Rosey. I have followed it with the 10 day SMA, so about 24 - 24.10 to rebuy. $BOTZ and $ROBO have been really good this year. Maybe they're a little ahead of themselves now - hence the partial sale. But the long term certainly should remain intact.
  • ROSEY: @steve71 $BOTZ $ROBO $TWX I am thankful for your help.
  • DAN: @ROSEY $NVDA Hi ROSEY. Good to see you back! I am looking at $DVMT and $NVDA for that, though I'm sure there are many others that members follow. One ETF that would work is $BOTZ -- Global X Robotics & AI Thematic ETF. Here are the holdings: $JBT $NVDA $TRMB $IRBT $BRKS $ISRG JBT and TRMB look interesting to me, ROSEY. --Dan
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO Momentum has shifted to $ROBO - 85 small and mid-cap robotics and AI companies.
  • issues: @steve71 $BOTZ $ROBO Steve-O thanks for the research on robotics! These are two excellent ETFs. BOTZ (Large cap includes $NVDA $ISRG two great stocks)is up over 6% for the month and 16% in 3 months. $ROBO (Mid cap (incl $AVAV $CGNX) 1 month 4.95%, 3 month 12.68%. ROBO looks to be breaking out. I like the small pull back in BOTZ, but ROBO looks to be breaking out. Which one do you think is a better buy right now? Steve I still smile at the picture with (you?) the crash helmet and handle bar mustache. It makes me think you are the kind of guy who tackles projects head on. "Just do it" type who loves life and doesn't mind taking a risk. Am I right?
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO The robotics ETFs have a big volume divergence in the last two weeks. $ROBO is small and midcap companies. It's consolidating and volume has been normal. $BOTZ is large cap robotics. It is climbing steadily. Volume has been roughly twice normal over the last 8-9 sessions.
  • steve71: $QQQ $BOTZ $SMH Last week's pattern continues. Qs flat, with FANGS down and semis and robotics leading.
  • steve71: $SEDG $APO $BX $BOTZ Adding at the close.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO $BOTZ yet another ATH $ROBO has fallen off the pace a bit.
  • bRobert: $BOTZ nh. Relatively new ETF Robotics AI
  • CHOFF: @bRobert $BOTZ - thanks for the reminder on this one. This could be a big win a year or two from now. Think I may buy a chunk for a long position.
  • bRobert: $BOTZ Robotics and AI ETF. Relatively new. Up 50% YTD.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO ATH and still adding.
  • steve71: $ROBO $BOTZ $SMH Still the places to be for tech exposure. Per Kass, hedging with Dec S+P Index puts.
  • steve71: $ROBO $BOTZ My two biggest LTH positions may be finished consolidating. The two robotics ETFs continue to outperform the major indices.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO Both at ATH on very good volume. These ETFs have charts similar to the Naz, but outperforming. Buyable anytime, IF the tech rally continues.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO Both continue to perform well. Autonomous driving stocks are hot, and both ETFs have exposure. $BOTZ companies tend more to large cap.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO $BOTZ is trading up on 15X normal volume. Pretty unusual for any ETF. No news. $ROBO is up a bit on good volume. These ETFs have been mentioned a few times as a good way to play robotics. Traders probably like the little robotics names but I don't want to screw around with them. LTH.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO The robotics ETFs continue to outperform. No single stock/earnings report risk. Diversified across US, Asia and Europe, so no currency risks. PE high 20s. LTH.
  • steve71: $SOCL $QQQ $SMH $BOTZ $ROBO all LTH. BTO $SOCL at $28.52 today. Other than Apple and Amazon, no individual tech names in our portfolios. Who needs the heartburn? Social media is especially screwy, but should do well as a group.
  • steve71: $ROBO. In ROBO Veritas. $ROBO is up 38% in a year v 28% for the Naz. The charts are nearly identical, with the ETF slowly outperforming. Looks safe to add, even after big gains. $BOTZ also good, with a different mix of robotics and AI.
  • gmj: $ROBO, $BOTZ, .... I am bldg a watch list of ETF,s and associated robotic stocks list. My list includes $IRBT, $ISRG, $CGNX, $RAVN, $KRN, $TRMB, $MBLY, $MZOR ... Anyone that can add symbols to the list I would appreciate it ... figure this is a future group that cannot be ignored RHRN ... thx in advance for your ideas.
  • Bridget: @gmj $ROBO $BOTZ $IRBT $ISRG $CGNX $RAVN $KRN $TRMB $MBLY $MZOR $MBLY is being acquired by $INTC, so I wouldn't keep it on your list.
  • mljbaer: @gmj $ROBO $BOTZ $IRBT $ISRG $CGNX $RAVN $KRN $TRMB $MBLY $MZOR $AVAV is a drone company. Sort of a robotics play...
  • gmj: @Bridget $ROBO $BOTZ $IRBT $ISRG $CGNX $RAVN $KRN $TRMB $MBLY $MZOR $INTC thx Bridget will do, I knew that but forgot, the memory is not what it used to be!
  • steve71: @gmj $ROBO $BOTZ $IRBT $ISRG $CGNX $RAVN $KRN $TRMB $MBLY $MZOR $FANUY is the ADR for Fanuc, the largest robot manufacturer. Fanuc is Japanese. They have 55% of the U.S. market and 10% of China. 2016 earnings were impacted by heavy investing. Fanuc plans to expand capacity by 60% through 2018.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO The robotics ETFs are both up about 10% since first board mention 2/2017. This is a long term trend. Tim Cook said that while jobs may return to the U.S., they will be taken by robots. LTH for me. This is the opposite of a yield hog. Trivial dividends but excellent growth. And no worries about individual earnings reports or P3 trial disasters!
  • woodman: @derek308 $ROBO - Look at $BOTZ too. But BOTZ is more thinly traded that ROBO.
  • steve71: $ROBO $BOTZ Robotics. Again. In the last three months, trading volumes have increased significantly in both ETFs.
  • steve71: $BOTZ Adding @17.22
  • steve71: $BOTZ ATH on good volume.
  • steve71: $BOTZ $ROBO $BOTZ currently at ATH on strong volume. These robotics/AI ETFs were mentioned a few weeks ago. Both have nice charts and are long term positions. $BOTZ is low volume and has to be bought carefully. $ROBO has better volume, but an annoying net expense ratio of 0.95. Robotics is still early days of a huge trend. Picking individual names is too difficult for me. These ETFs, with dozens of companies and international exposure, seem a good bet. $BOTZ has a big position in $MBLY, being acquired by Intel at a 13% premium.
