I have simplified my trading by staying at a higher level... mainly the index derivatives (1x triggering the 3x ETFs), and then the major sectors (the same, 1x triggering the 3x ETFs). Sometimes I'll trade some individual tickers... but that's not where I buy and sell in size, like I do at the index and sector level trades. I have enough trouble staying on top of indexes and sectors, let alone hundreds of individual stocks. Of course everyone has their druthers... developed over decades of trading. FWIW... all the best buddy... sounds like you are doing just fine at this crazy "job" we all decided to bite off! ==:O

- bigbartabs: @chrisbman360 $B0IL $KOLD $BOIL ... If not already, I would use $UNG to trigger any $BOIL buys and sells. Many 3x ETFs don't correlate well with their 1x equivalent... therefore I always use 1x ETFs to trigger their 3x pair. Think of it as the 1x ETFs are the dog, that wag their 3x ETF tail. Not the other way around. Hopefully all that makes sense... FWIW, good luck.

- maracom: Good morning all! I put my $NVDA Dec 460/450 bear call spread back on now that earnings has passed with a flat response. My logic is if slowing guidance is enough to overcome blowing out the revenue expectations, then it seems like institutions are foreseeing less rapid growth which therefore lowers the growth premium, but we do have the christmas rally coming up so I may be wrong again. $GLD is holding it's gap despite a bounce in the dollar today. $XLE back under pressure today. I want to cost average back into some more energy in my #LTA but I think there's still time for the pullback to run its course towards lower prices. #Trading: Long $WPM $UNG $EWZ Short: $NVDA $KRE #LTA: Long $BIL $NEM $SLV $DVN $FCX

- maracom: Good morning all! $FTI pullback yesterday spooked me a bit because of it's magnitude, so I sold off my remaining shares today but I'll keep an eye on a low risk re-entry point. $NVDA is resting below 500, looks like earnings will make the decision. I'm within a few percent of breakeven so I'll probably wait for Monday but will likely close my BePS down before earnings. Retail popping off lately, seems to be some bullish sentiment regarding holiday shopping. #Trading: Long $WPM $UNG $EWZ Short: $NVDA (460/450 Dec BePS) $KRE (long Dec $43 puts) #LTA: Long $BIL $NEM $SLV $DVN $FCX -$FCX retesting the 50d from below. #LTA: Long $DVN $FTI $FCX $NEM - oldtimer: @bigbartabs $DJI #ETF-trader good morning . . monitoring the ETF's and very limited. $ITA, $ITB, $UNG, $XLF, $XLRE are the only ones that are at or above the 8 wk SMA. Nothing stands out to me at this point. If rates stabilize $XLRE might get interesting. Otherwise all cash here
- stairm01: $UNG Making another swing higher after a drop yesterday. Added back in some yesterday at $6.97. Looking for this to hold the 200 dma today and moving up to $8.00

Those sectors that their 1x ETF rise above the 8dema, I will take a starter position in their 3x in anticipation of going up. If they don't within a day or so... I drop them and move on. If they do rise, I wait for up a couple %, double it. No adding unless they are rising... and if they don't go up in a day or tow... I'm out, and on to something else. Also, $UNG is tough, since it doesn't correlate well with 3x $BOIL I always track the 4 index pairs... $DJI/$UDOW, $SPX/$SPXL, $NDX/$TQQQ, $RUT/$TNA... of which none are even close to the 8dema. The only one that could be worth starting a position is $DJI, that bounced off of the 200dma. All the best...

Have been absent for the past couple weeks because we bought and are remodeling a property, so stocks have been on the back burner. Have been selling into this rally and currently sit at 60% cash. #Trading: Still bullish energy, long $UNG $URA. Have a $NVDA 480/490 bear call spread on, might close it for break even ahead of earnings depending on how the morning pop goes. #LTA: Sold $SCHW after earnings for a 25% gain, pullback/gap fill suggests another regional banking issue remains on the horizon, watching. Long $XOM $DVN $CTRA $MOS $FCX $NEM. Gold miners in the pits for now with the dollar rally. Energy remains strong and I love collecting those dividends and covered call income.

I know the tax complexity with the $UNG trust is off putting so this could be the best low dollar way to play. for sure if it clears that drop from March at 5.58 this for sure a go.
