- phgruver: The major indexes, $SPY, $IWM, $QQQ are all tracking lower, in "below average" volume, ahead of the FOMC meeting. It looks like institutions are hedging the downside by raising a bit of cash. That's still no indication as to which way the market will react, though.

- phgruver: @StockMarketMentor $SPY, $QQQ Unfortunately I have a standing appointment on Mondays that keeps me from attending the SMM Training Session live. However, I always listen to them in the evening (at fast speed. :-)). Many times, I've wanted to send you an emoji, while listening, but, of course, I can't. The point is, sessions like this are why I joined SMM to begin with. You keep hitting on key concepts and pointing out common mistakes. It is absolutely worth my time. Keep them coming!
- phgruver: Good morning, y'all. It's dark, dreary and wet, here in central NC, a perfect Friday the 13th. :-) The week, so far, has been a decent recovery. The $SPY is in a volatility squeeze near the 50DMA, and looks poised to move higher. $IJR, $IWM, $QQQ, $XLK all found support near the 200DMA and are now pushing higher as well. The path of least resistance looks to be higher....

Of course, anything can happen from here.

- champ: @bigbartabs $SPXL $SPX $DJI $SPY $UDOW #Thanks...OK...got it on $UDOW, however I mostly always Trade off of positive News, like that #Powell-news, so I will watch $UDOW, along with my $TNA and $SSO positions and I'm also still holding $IBIT and $NUGT, for Now. ....and all are Bounce-Candidates, with the MarketsIMO, could be both for shot and long term now, because of that New...positive-Powell-news.. .....and $TNA, this small-cap ETF, is a #huge-lagger... and now appears to be spring-loaded and is only Waiting for the Markets, before it mades its next move and I'm looking at 2021, when it was at $114 and all the others are back at around their highs...$SSO, $UDOW and others. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ However I expect all kinds of zig-zags, as I wait, to add-onto my ETF positions.

- champ: $SPY ....on this Market drop.....I'm looking around...because I'm trying to find out Why the Markets are dropping......anybody have any idea's, for the reason why.....??.... .....and it could be because of those large Job revisions, which could be starting to point-out, that the economy could be in the beginnings of a recession..... ...we will see if this drop turns..... or continues all the way into the close and if it continues into the close, that would be a negative Set-up for tomorrow....because all of the Offshore Markets tonight, would probably follow our Markets. .......the $COMPX, is now down 227 points and the tech-sector is starting to look like it wants to fall even more...however with 90 minutes left before the close...we will see how it plays out...might start to make a small U-turn...... ....however might have to flip-a-coin for direction..? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- joelsg1: $SPY #LarryWilliams It's a sad day, as Larry Williams today announced his retirement after a stellar 60 plus year career. I have been following LW for years and he has been money. He'll keep doing monthly reports through October but then he's done, except perhaps for 1 more annual report. His latest cycle work, which Cramer translated the other day, is that most stocks should peak now through $NVDA's E next Wed. and then fall to a buyable low mid-October. I'm travelling tomorrow and thus did a significant across-the-board trim of all profitable timing options. Better early than never.
