- woodman: @debeers - #5G Hi there Lady debeers. Admittedly, I have not kept up on this like I should. Back in May/June a techie friend of mine and I discussed the field. He was high on $VIAV and $EMKR. He follows this area; I don't. I also have a long watchlist that I developed a couple years ago, but have not kept up on it and I don't know about their "freshness." Others I occasionally look at that have been doing well are $SBAC and $AMT. But, really, this is a longwinded way of saying I need to do some studying and can't direct you to a Fave right now. I also need to reach back out to my friend for his thoughts.... Stay tuned!

You probably saw several companies including $JDSU and $EMKR tank yesterday on news they they source from Fabrinet. Fabrinet's investor docs list $SANM, $CLS, $OPLK, and VEMLY as major competitors so I'm looking to those for upside.

- unremitting3: $EMKR jojo this is insane. The way I see it, it's part of the cloudy thing to increase transmission speed, volume etc. Limited number of players and other operations. Up 20% today and short interest OFF SMM is 3.3% Think I'll get a little something to take to @grandma's
- CallaLilly: @jegathai1 - $EMKR - Ameritrade shows a short interest of over 12%. If that's reasonably accurate, that's very compelling. It's certainly come down a bunch since June 23rd. I'll watch it. I like these little ones but I pretty much have been trying to pick ten biotech/medical ones that have something that looks good. I just have a personal understanding, that could be incorrect, that this is a brave moment for biotech. Some companies are finding ways to lengthen life expectancy in what was formerly a terminal disease. It just moves me and I think this is potentially the most powerful development ever. Thanks ...
- barb: Hey gatordave .. I just looked at the $EMKR chart .. Funny how it has that huge "V" like almost all the others that I have looked at today. Anyway can you let it run with a trailing stop? Of course .80 gain on $4.00 sure isn't bad. You could always buy it back. By the way .. did you read the RM article on $DRYS that just came up a little while ago?
