- debeers: $AMAT/$BA/$BOOT/$CMI/$DKNG/$EME/$INMD/$LAD/$QRTEA/$SNA/$TTD-i am not as sharp as @bRobert so managing 11 diverse is about my limit. Cannot complain about having to say goodbye to $MTDR as it was up 93% this year and( as you all know i bought it on David Ortiz's recommendation LOL. Have a nice day and listen to @bRobert, @champ, and for the more cautious but always sound--@scottrades. I have to prep for another analyst day and so far attending them has put on average 2500 or so dollars in my pocket either by adding to or scrapping a position. in my last job i didn't make 2500 for 90 minutes work so i view the time as an investment. i think fundies are a tool and the recent IBD seminar i attended believed that too so always add to your skills where you can IMO.

By the way--$SNA deserves to have acup of coffee---we got it at 190.74. i think if you can finmd good teachers everywhere and IBD reigns me in sometimes and of course, even though price should trump conviction sometimes i just cannot help m,yself because, unmlike the others here, i am not perfect.

The leader in these ultra-cold chambers is Bahnson Environmental Specialties which is part of Emcor $EME. Note that $EME missed earnings on 10/29, but their stock rocketed up since this earnings date

- vfr777: $EME @dan wanted to see if you have anything to say about $EME It's moved up the 50day but the 50day is sloping downwards. Can you tell me what pattern you see on the chart?
- DAN: @vfr777 $EME It's just sloppy here. Broke out of a volatility squeeze a couple of weeks ago, but the squeeze was clearly below the January trading range. So the stock just blew out of the squeeze and hit the supply pocket that was created by the selloff in February. Might go higher from here...but it's just in any kind of base at this point. So I'd pass on it (though I'm not telling you to).

- jolinla: $MTZ, Is anyone into this? I nibbled a bit on it today but was reluctant to move with conviction because of the overall market resistance. I intend to add to it if it continues to break out or if it pulls back a bit. $FLR had a strong move today, $PWR also looks poised to move. $EME and $KBR look weaker. $CBI has had a strong move and $JEC seems to have found support at the 200 sma. Earnings for $MTZ are on Feb 24 (unconfirmed).

- evanesce: REXI: This name found its way into my watch list of names related to homebuilding and financing. It bolted up 6% late this morning on no news I can find. If anyone comes across news, I'd like to know. With heavy short interest (14 days to cover) it could just be a randomly ignited short #squeeze. $EME and $ESIO, breakout names of yesterday, are doing well in Day 2. I will likely start positions in these if I see dips being bought, no positions yet.

(Remember the routine p ... - evanesce: Morning all, I was available for the $WWW session but the cost of calling from Canada was prohibitive (we could try Skype, too). Yesterday $EME and IVN hit my upper-level alerts. $EME is behaving a bit better today, may enter this one. IVN is steadily rising but I'm not seeing the sharp volume increase of serious short covering; a good sign is that it has noticeable call activity in the first 20 minutes, and its #options are strongly biased towards calls (both are typically bullish signs). At the open my upper alerts pinged me in $BGC GWW $KR LNG. I'll assess these later, I have to prep for a meeting and then hit the gym (back noonish EDT).
- tradamom: Suzie: I didn't get into $NTRI soon enough. like u said it went up to $72 this morning. I am already into quite a few of @dan's volatilty stocks so I decided that I would just have to watch it go without me. I don't know the wisdom of this but I bought a few shares of $MATW, $KR, $EME, & GPC. they hit the trigger price yesterday. we'll see. and of course i will keep my stops.

- evanesce: Hi tradamom, I get a "ping" noise when a stock goes across one of my alert levels. Then, I take a look at the chart, sector etc. to decide whether it is worth pursuing. @Dan added $EME to the short squeezes on Tuesday and it looks like the #squeeze has started already (exceptionally good/lucky pick). But this being the fourth day that it has both gapped up and risen, with decent but not remarkable volume, I'm not in this name yet.
- tradamom: Evan: thanks for the response. I get it now. I was watching $EME yesterday and it didn't hit the trigger in the morning. It rose up rather quickly today. i was also concerned about the low volime. I was in $AAPL very early. I've been burned on it before so I got out at $101.

- evanesce: Hi "mom", I was away from my screen starting at 2.... For me, $EME is a possible breakout but not yet confirmed. I don't think this is a stock-specific concern, because a lot of names I watch hit their heads on the way up the stairs and took a step or two back. I'll post promptly if I enter any of the featured names.
