- Lou: I haven’t posted for some time as I don’t really have much to say that would be useful here. I’m holding and trading around a handful of stocks and a #MuniBonds ladder. In my self-managed account, I’m holding and trading ar ...
- champ: @Lou $ET $EPD $ARDX $HUMA $VKTX $BA $WFRD $DBRG #MuniBonds #biotechs....Nice to hear from you...stay in touch. Take Care!
- Lou: @Lou $ET $EPD $ARDX $HUMA $VKTX $BA $WFRD $DBRG #MuniBonds #biotechs How could I have forgotten my very large position, massively appreciated, $FTI.
- sierramp: @Lou $ET $EPD $ARDX $HUMA $VKTX $BA $WFRD $DBRG #MuniBonds #biotechs Hi Lou, thanks for posting. Good to know what you are trading. Having a spouse in memory care must be incredibly hard on you. It's good to hear you have a lot of support from your family and staying active with the gym and training. Good to hear from you. Have a good weekend.
- billyzeke: @Lou $ET $EPD $ARDX $HUMA $VKTX $BA $WFRD $DBRG #MuniBonds #biotechs Good to hear from you Lou, hang in there, and have a great weekend!
- woodman: @Lou $ET $EPD $ARDX $HUMA $VKTX $BA $WFRD $DBRG #MuniBonds #biotechs - Thanks for the update and for checking in, Lou. Stay healthy, active, keep spending time with family, and live life as best/as much as you can.

- Lou: @champ $KMI $PAA $ARCC $JEPO $MAIN $BIZD #yieldhogs #Thanks #Yield-stock-ideas Add a couple of more pipelines, $ET and $EPD as well as the $DBRG preferred $DBRGPRI. CAVEAT - $PAA $ET $EPD are to be avoided in IRAs, Roths 401s and any other tax-deferred accounts. They can generate #UBTI.
- champ: @Lou $KMI $PAA $ARCC $JEPO $MAIN $BIZD $ET $EPD $DBRG $DBRGPRI #yieldhogs #Thanks #Yield-stock-ideas #UBTI.......Yes...let's add those on. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
- champ: @champ $KMI $PAA $ARCC $JEPI $JEPQ $MAIN $BIZD $ET $EPD $DBRG #yieldhogs #Yield-stock-ideas....making a list...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- phgruver: @champ $KMI $PAA $ARCC $JEPI $JEPQ $MAIN $BIZD $ET $EPD $DBRG #yieldhogs #Yield-stock-ideas I have $MAIN in one of my ROTH accounts. At a 5.92% yield, it's not exactly #YIELDHOGS territory. It pays monthly, though, and looks pretty darn good. @Dana got me into New Residential, which changed their name to Rithm Capital ($RITM). It took a big hit on COVID, and has wallowed around a bit, without recovering to the pre-COVID levels. Still, it pays and 8.99% dividend, and has a P/E of 10. The dividends are well covered by earnings. It's a little extended, RHRN, but if it pulls back to around $10.75, it might be worth considering. As you suggest, on #YieldHogs, entry is everything. If you pay too much, you may find yourself underwater for a long time!
- Lou: I'm still holding, with a lot of hopium, a significant position in $DBRG. Earnings on 4/30. Just saw a massive momentary spike as someone purchased more than 2.05million shares. Hope springs eternal.
- Lou: @Lou $DBRG -- ..and another 2million share trade.
- MongosPawn: $DBRG Was stopped out earlier this week. Back in this morning on the bounce above the 200 dma. Tight stop just below yesterday's low.
- Lou: Love the $DBRG preferred I RHRN - I hold a very large position from below, but looking for an excuse to add.
- rnrdallas1939: @Lou $DBRG what is the symbol for the preferred must have a good div.
- Lou: @rnrdallas1939 $DBRG - $DBRGPRI (symbol on Fidelity). Callable at par - 25 - and yields $7.63 pa.
- Lou: @Lou $DBRG $DBRGPRI - that 7.63% not $7.63
- MongosPawn: $DBRG Now back above the 50 dma. Added a bit.
- Lou: I'd be buying $DBRG with both hands if I were not overfull.
- wjj3: $DBRG why?
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG Got my eye on it, got a limit order at 18.65 just in case it pulls back that far.
- Lou: @wjj3 $DBRG - lots of catalysts - sorry, but I'm not inclined to write essays today. I suggest that you may want to do some research if you are interested.
- billyzeke: @billyzeke $DBRG Hit it while I was at lunch.
- wildfire3d: @wjj3 $DBRG take advantage of the "timeframe" option and search for @lou $dbrg "for all time" you will find several discourses from lou about why dbrg.
- Lou: Got back from the gym and noticing that $DBRG is bouncing off a bottom with decent volume. Hope it continues - yes, @DAN, but in the absence of anything else, #hope is my strategy..
- Lou: Added to $DBRG via sale of puts
- Lou: I may be wrong, but I think that the market is heavy and there will be some significant selling ahead of the three day Easter weekend. May be a good time to pick up some decent stocks at bargain basement prices. On a whim, I took my profits on $CLSK yesterday, later today may be a good time to reenter lower. Also thinking about more $VKTX $DBRG $FTI and $EPD
- woodman: @Lou $CLSK $VKTX $DBRG $FTI $EPD - I can't imagine why VKTX is under $100, much less under $90 right now. New PTs following oral obesity data: Oppy 138 Truist 120 BITG 125 RJF 115 Jef 110 Stifel 95 My question is: at what price will it be acquired and, of course, when? I will add on any decent dips, and maybe some less than decent dips.
- Lou: @Lou $CLSK $VKTX $DBRG $FTI $EPD - decided that $21.58 is a good enough price to buy back my sold $CSLK shares. I didn't want it o get away from me, so I'm back in. Thanks @DAN
- champ: @Lou $CLSK $VKTX $DBRG $FTI $EPD....Could be, we will see how it plays-out and for my account, I'm still way up and I thought that it looked like the Shorts were covering before the 3-Day weekend.... ....now we will see if the Day-traders take any of their longs off and they might not but a flat close would be nice and anything above the flat-line would be a #nice-plus...before the weekend.... and the Markets had a great move yesterday.
- DavidK: @Lou $CLSK $VKTX $DBRG $FTI $EPD I am positioning to some selling next week . Money managers gonna hold thru end of quarter and then sell some next week or so . I am only long $CLL ( small ) $PFE calls medium , small $ TLRY . Long VXX calls
- champ: @DavidK $CLSK $VKTX $DBRG $FTI $EPD $CLL $PFE ....The way that it normally works is....money managers don't sell in a strong Market...plus they will hold into the first earnings reports from the Banks...and that starts on 4/12...... ....plus they are not going to miss a strong earnings season, they will at least wait to see how earnings reports go..... however small traders might move off...but Not the money managers, thats my guess.
- DavidK: @champ $CLSK $VKTX $DBRG $FTI $EPD $CLL $PFE good catch . I did forget about this being an earnings report month . Probably small fry’s like me selling some stuff . I don’t like to hold thru earnings unless I really feel confident. $CCL I had a big call position about 2-3 days before earnings but bailed . I didn’t like price action
- Lou: My final trades today - purchased $DBRG $18 calls and sold $DBRG $20 puts for 5/17/24 - right around the company's Investor Day update.
- Lou: @Lou $DBRG correction - did the puts earlier today - in quantity.
- Lou: $DBRG gave us another brief opportunity to add. Looking forward to the next leg up ahead of Investor Day.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG One of the few spots of green I have today, nice to see it back above the 50 day.
- :
- Lou: Don't know whether this is the bump I've been expecting, but $DBRG is looking perky
- MongosPawn: $VKTX $DBRG $INZY Added some $VKTX, took a starter in $DBRG, added some more $VKTX, should've added to $INZY but missed it.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG We are only human and we all make mistakes, but I feel like I make far more than my share sometimes. DBRG has alot of support in this area, if it can get above that 50 day and get some upward momentum we should be off to the races. I'm just hoping the overall market doesn't take a downturn here.
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - mea culpa Billy. I totally believe in this position and am very long in both the common and preferred. However, I jumped the gun on the adds yesterday morning as my entries for the adds, by the standards preached here so many times by @DAN were horrible. I'm too old and too seasoned to have made that mistake as I've long ago learned that an add to a position should follow the same discipline that is required for a new position. I reacted to my gut, not my brain, and jumped the gun with both my adds and the post. That said, I'm still enthusiastic about the company and will hold on to all of the shares. Rainy weekend here, so I'm online.

Lou: ...
My current concentrated positions are in a couple of pipeline companies, $FTI, $ARDX, and $DBRG, common and one of its preferred issues.
I have been posting here, ad tedium, about my current favorite $DBRG. I believe that it is now in the early st ... - Lou: I eat my own cooking - added to $DBRG at 18.63
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG Give me a plate, I'm back in at 18.65.
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - GL - do look at the investor presentation filed w/ the SEC 8-K and available on the DBRG website.
- Simar297: @Lou $DBRG what’s the stop loss guys ?
- Lou: @Simar297 $DBRG - none for me as I'm so overloaded. I'm guessing some stops are being hit today, but, as I previously stated, I am and have been playing this for the long term and have been in this and, to some extent predecessors, for a long time. Some of my lots were purchased in the low single digits and some around 20. I just have great confidence in management and the current fundamental position.
- billyzeke: @billyzeke $DBRG I'll probably put one around 17.90. I didnt take a huge position, thinking it might come on down to the 20 day. If it does I may take a little more depending on market conditions.
- billyzeke: @billyzeke $DBRG I added a little more at 18.44, lowering my cost basis so that I nearly finished in the green. Going to try to be more patient and careful about adding this time around.
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG $DBRGprI - thar she blows!
- Lou: If I didn't own enough, I'd be adding to $DBRG and the preferred I $DBRGprI
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG $DBRGprI I got bored with it a while back and sold, but I see it's tightened up nicely now.
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG $DBRGprI - I'm playing the long game in the common - ignoring day-to-day fluctuations, and expecting a good bump at some point on a fundamental basis. As for the preferred, I have a very large position from a good bit below, am enjoying the yield and cash flow while I wait for the company to redeem the issue at $25 par. Will hate to part with it but I keep reminding myself that I started buying and continued to buy with the expectation of the redemption.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG $DBRGprI Im sure your patience will pay off handsomely for you on this one. I've set myself an alert and will keep a closer eye on it now that youv'e brought it back to my attention. I had a good original entry last time but messed it up with a later add and I ended up getting out with only a small gain.
- Lou: Great Q and CC for one of my larger holdings - $DBRG. I'm looking forward to continued growth in value.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG Yes, one bright spot on my screen this morning.
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - absolutely did not expect the reaction at the open! Let's see what time brings. I'm still very positive on this outsized holding of mine.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG Yeah, that turned quickly.
- curtis: $DBRG added at 18.20 on drop during earnings. Existing position. https://ir.digitalbridge.com/static-files/c9fdde92-bb2f-416d-be43-e16fec911f44
- Lou: @curtis $DBRG - good trade! Would've joined you if I were not over full! Still expecting a great return on this holding.
- sierramp: $DBRG pre-market is pulling back, support is at 18.44
- Lou: Fools rush in etc. - I just added to $CLRB $DBRG $CLRB $ARDX at around current prices.
- DavidK: @Lou $CLRB $DBRG $ARDX I have some $CLRB in my long term account ( not my E*trade trading account) and was looking to add . Right here looks like the spot as long as company is not in trouble .
- woodman: @Lou $CLRB $DBRG $ARDX - I will likely add to $CLRB tomorrow when some additional $$ become available to me.
- Lou: Using proceeds to add to $DBRG and $ARDX
- curtis: @BarryC (Good Morning Barry) $DBRG @LOU starter position on open.
- sierramp: @Lou $DBRG Thank you for this Lou. I took a starter on the BO on 1-22 when you mentioned their reorganization/asset light and will add. The reason for adding now is what you mentioned earlier about running with the big dogs. I see the volume spikes that have happened over the last month or so. That is confirmation. All the MAs are in an uptrend, support is at 18.44 (Sep and Dec highs) and that support just about where the 21D is.
- Lou: @curtis $DBRG @sierramp - good luck. IMO your entry was well timed. Not unusual for this stock to open lower on tiny volume. Volume spikes up when the institutions come in.
- Lou: I know that I shouldn't be piggy about my investments, but I just couldn't help myself, so I added to $DBRG this morning at 20.02 (relatively small) in a family account that had a significant cash position.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG I added a little at 20 myself
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - buyers coming in.
- curtis: @Lou $DBRG watched conf call https://viavid.webcasts.com/viewer/event.jsp?ei=1632652&tp_key=422895bf32 Private financing for AI data center core weave, Fiber, Cell towers. (Like $IIPR for cannabis)
- :
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG Wishing I had taken more on the breakout, I'm definitely looking to add.
- Lou: FYI - I've doing a bit of research and RHRN I continue to pound the table regarding $DBRG. BlackRock filed a few days ago that it has increased its position from less than about 2% of the outstanding common shares to more than 7%. It generally pays to run with the big dogs!
- sierramp: @Lou $DBRG Very good info, thank you. Hard to add this far above the 8D but.....
- billyzeke: $DBRG Continues to grind higher to ATH's
- Lou: Feeling the love - my four largest positions -$ET $DBRG $FTI and $ARDX are all soaring.
- billyzeke: $DBRG Still holding up well
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - yes, another new 52 weeks high this morning.
- Lou: Looks like the $ARDX adds earlier to round up accounts were opportune. On another note, @billyzeke the entry yesterday is looking better and better -$DBRG continues up to another 52 weeks high.
- billyzeke: @Lou $ARDX $DBRG Yep, it's looking good. I was hoping for a close above 20 but 19.95 works too.
- billyzeke: $DBRG
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - glad you're on board. More good things to come as the company has completed it's transformation from a REIT to an "asset light" digital portfolio manager.
- sierramp: @Lou @Billyzeke $DBRG Very interesting. After research I started small. Thank you.
- billyzeke: @Lou $DBRG Been watching it for a while, got in on the open, hope it works out.
- Lou: @billyzeke $DBRG - great timing on your buy - at a 52 week high and continuing to climb. I'm looking for it to break above 20.56, the post reverse split price on 8/22/2022, when it was a REIT and looked like a piece of dung.
- Lou: Added to large position in $DBRG. Noticed that it starts slowly each morning, then moves up. Looks like today it will follow that trend. I own a lot but I want to own more.
- Lou: .....and likely my last post for today, $DBRG continues to be a great speculation and I'm now holding full positions in that and the $DBRGprI.
- Lou: Happy New Year all - For years, on the last day of trading, I've made a buy based on my perception (is it guess?) of something that I believe will perform well next year. Generally, it's been a stock in which I already had a position. This year it won't be different. I am now trying to decide on today's buy. The candidates are $ET $EPD $DBRG $FTI. I will post my decision as soon as I enter the order.
- Lou: @Lou $ET $EPD $DBRG $FTI - as tempted as I was to buy more of all four, because it is a smaller position of mine than the other three, I added to $ARDX.
- jonwest88: @Lou $ET $EPD $DBRG $FTI $ARDX I chose months ago and added a few times to $ET, still paying over 9% too. For exploration investment still have a small profitable position in $FANG.
- Lou: @jonwest88 $ET $EPD $DBRG $FTI $ARDX $FANG - good choice - $ET is such an oversized position for me that I can't add any more. It's what I call my "one decision investment.'" Because distributions reduce one's basis (they're treated for the most part as return of capital), on sale they are gains, and on top of that there would be significant depreciation recapture, the tax bite on sale would eat away much of any gain. At my age, and with the great tax deferred cash flow, I'm determined to hold $ET (and $EPD) for my estate. At that time, under current tax laws, there would be a step-up in basis and my heirs would be able to sell without tax consequences. That said, I think that it's still a great buy, even today.
- Lou: Adding to $DBRG RHRN
- Lou: I'm still dabbling in $DBRG and $DBRGprI. The common is presenting a good entry point for an add, so I added just a little bit to a decent sized holding. I'm absolutely over-full in the preferred and looking at it as a cash cow until it gets called away from me at 25.
- Lou: @Lou $DBRG $DBRGprI - sometimes one gets lucky! Turns out that my $DBRG add this morning was well timed.
