- DaPosse: I don't understand options but could someone help me understand what happened to $ALAB today in the last minute of trading? The stock trading between a range of 59.11 to 62.02 set in the first 30 minutes of trading and then it undercut the low in the last minute of trading and closed at 59.01 on huge volume.
- Henry: @DaPosse $ALAB In addition to what @Marksparkle said ( and I agree about the enthusiasm high), I don't see a lot of open interest in this stock expiring today nor is it in or out of the XLK. So no explanation on the volume, except ( it is an AI hardware, i.e. wiring connection stock) it was taken down by the AI sector. I see it had a 20% move off the bottom, and I rarely speak for Dan, but he wouldn't like the chart. It broke down out of a descending triangle today, another reason to sell. 1 million shares traded on market on close. I haven't fully wrapped my head around why funds do this, but that spike in volume on the 4:05 candle isn't people like us.
