- Vcondry: $ANET nasty $alab yay $AXON .... yikes!!!
- kenb: $ALAB tested the 21w yesterday and trying to bounce today. On the daily chart, it's stuck in the middle below the 50d and above the 200d, not near any support. It could go either way.
- mopick: @kenb $ALAB, thinking of a starter position, stop, below yesterday's low of $160.12
- kenb: $ALAB down 20% hitting the 21w, might try to bounce.
- Vcondry: @kenb $ALAB i was so tempted to do something foolish and throw risk mitigation out the window...instead I bought 5 shares just so I could see how right or wrong i would be lol.
- billyzeke: @Vcondry $ALAB I was so clsoe to doing that too, but then the overall market turned down. I'll be watching it tomorrow.
- limes141: @Dan @Scottrades $ALAB Thoughts on $ALAB as it walk along the 50 sma . I know its not great that everyone is ripping but it is lagging. Applying what Dan taught on risk, below the 50 say 2 percent you know you are wrong?
- ReneeH: @limes141 $ALAB not ready yet imo....give er some time...great fundamentals.
- limes141: @ReneeH $ALAB thanks for the input ReneeH. I am staring at the rare earth group thinking I should take some off as it is looking a bit crazy. I sat though $MP when you rang the register : ) .
- Bert953: @limes141 $ALAB $MP was looking at rare metals this morn but didnt pull the trigger MP looks best today, others Of interest are $NAK $UUUU $USAR $nb $tmq
- ReneeH: @limes141 $ALAB $MP fwiw I sold calls on 1/3 of my underlying $MP and trimmed 1/3, free rolling the last little bit. For me and my style, this is a thank you....jockey for the next one.
- ReneeH: @ReneeH $ALAB $MP also $SMR similar adjacent group, getting going maybe decent RR but I fear all of these could get volatile depending on geopol headlines ya know.
- kenb: $ALAB $ANET $VRT AI buildout players, all up on the $AMD news. Go AI.
- joelsg1: $ALAB Retraced about half of recent decline and back above 20d. Long. BofA neutral at $230.

$SNOW Broke out of its range yesterday.
It’s been a great week for stocks and trading, let’s finish strong.

- Mpower27: @scottrades $KWEB $AMD $BMNR $MSFT $DASH $AAPL $GOOGLE $V $ALAB $SNOW What is the car you bought?
- ReneeH: @scottrades $KWEB $AMD $BMNR $MSFT $DASH $AAPL $GOOGLE $V $ALAB $SNOW Outstanding work! Thank you.
- kenb: $ALAB coming down to test the 50d, looking for a bounce for a potential add.
- kenb: $ALAB broke down through the 8d and close to the 21d PM which has been support in the recent past. Watching for a bounce for a possible add.
- kenb: $ALAB added on the pullback just above $200 which I think will hold.
- joelsg1: @kenb $ALAB No news I can see.
- kenb: @joelsg1 $ALAB no, none that I can find either, maybe just some profit taking or a shake-out. So, I'm going with the shake-out theory and $200 round number level was resistance in Aug, could be support now. We shall see.
- joelsg1: $ALAB Has dropped about 3% per day since 9/19 and down 9% today since MS said that the $NVDA investment in $INTC could have implications for $ALAB. Stabilizing but the correlation is troubling. Apparently, the concern is that as $NVDA 'fuses' with $INTC x86 domain CPUs, that could in coming years displace some of $ALAB's revs. When the story changes, you have to adjust accordingly. Still long from below but less than before.
- joelsg1: @joelsg1 $ALAB $NVDA $INTC But to be clear the $NVDA-$INTC disruption is still several years out, and $ALAB is not standing still, innovating with its new Scorpio products that will reduce reliance on the PCIe architecure- Peripheral Component Interconnect Express- anyway.
- kenb: @joelsg1 $ALAB good assessment, agreed. As stated below, I added small thinking that $200 level could act as support at least for now. Recently dip buying has worked for me in this up trending market and couldn't resist with this big drop and had to add a little. When the market changes and dip buying is no longer working, we will need to adjust as you stated.
- joelsg1: @kenb $ALAB I was trying to find something to explain the $ALAB drop, so came up with this which I think is correct.
- kenb: @joelsg1 $ALAB yes, I think you were spot on with the assessment of this in particular. In the backround, the market is also reacting to Powell's comment yesterday about stocks being 'Highly Valued". Saw this today that might explain the market sell-off which attempts to explain those comments by comparing to Greenspan's "irrational exuberance" comment. This might be the beginning of a risk-off change for the market. To understand Fed Chair Powell's warning, prudent investors need to remember December 5, 1996. On that day, then Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan made his famous ‘irrational exuberance' speech. Greenspan said, "But how do we know when irrational exuberance has unduly escalated asset values, which then become subject to unexpected and prolonged contractions as they have in Japan over the past decade?"

- scottrades: $ALAB looks good at the open here
- limes141: @Dan $ALAB. Hi Dan, can we put your teaching from last night to work with $ALAB, as you taught us with $BSX on risk reward entry. My analysis with $ALAB at current entry is there is more downside (to the 21 ema or bottom at 160.85 than upside with resistance around $199). And given the seasonality we are entering, it is a no go despite it looking like it is making the right side of the base, and almost a HTF formation?
- scottrades: $ALAB Curling up a good volume.
- camaro69: @scottrades $ALAB Nice info on this last night. Thanks, small
- DAN: @limes141 $ALAB $BSX I think that's a good analysis. As I see it, the stock can certainly go to $200. Still 40 minutes to go in trading and the volume is higher than the previous 3 days. So it might have some juice. But you've got your risk defined. From here, you've got to assume the upside is about $10 bucks (~5%). If that's the upside, then your risk needs to be no more than 2.5% to make it a potential 2R trade (a reward twice as much as risk). I don't see that kind of setup on this one.

- RD: @joelsg1 $ALAB ALAB has made a huge move from $90 last month. I was thinking of selling 1/2 position around $198. However, it looks strong and i tend to sell too early. What do you guys think?
- joelsg1: @RD $ALAB Incredibly strong move, but sticking with it until it bucks us off, it's $25 down to 8d so I think half of that, $12.50 or about $179 for potential first Adios.
- DavidK: @RD $ALAB I have no position. If I did after looking at this chart , I would sell half and put a stop in and see what happens . This has had one hell of a move and way above many street price targets .
- RD: @joelsg1 $ALAB Thank you guys. I appreciate all your opinions.
- joelsg1: @joelsg1 $ALAB This one sells connectivity (like $CSCO but way smaller and more advanced) for both $NVDA and the custom chippers, so for timing $CSCO reports tomorrow night, could trim before, then reassess into $NVDA E 8/27.
- joelsg1: $ALAB Pushing ATH-L. Analysts will have to increase targets after stellar E, now avg. $132, $46 below current price, with ISI St. high at $215.
- joelsg1: $ALAB People talk about $PLTR's Rule of 40 score (annual rev. growth plus profit margin in percentages) at 94 as phenominal. $ALAB's score is better. Long and added Oct. $170-190 call spreads. Penetrated upper BB for a hot minute, then rebounded.

- kenb: @limes141 $ALAB from personal experience, it can go either way, you never know. Sometimes a PM buy/sell totally reversed when the market opened or closed. I guess you have to have conviction in the stock and sentiment.
- Wolf: @kenb $ALAB Wish I had held, but can't buy here. I made a lot more on the bounce trade than a starter position size would be RHRN.
- limes141: @kenb $ALAB That Monday July 21 was a clue someone was expecting a big move. I miscalculate the HTF move, whoops. Had to do a limit order as I have to work LOL . Amazing move. $ALAB and $ANET was a hard one.

- Henry: @SamikRoy $ALAB $HNGE $LRN Of the three $LRN looks the least promising. I'd keep the other two for a Day 2. If you've been holding them since they were on the ATL you should realize you are not trading @DAN's plan. I've done that with $GEV. But LRN has had a terrible chart.
