  • debeers: $AGQ- Just a quickie today to compensate for the fact that whenever Lithia buys something, it loses a bit. Reality check: they actually have to pay money for their acquisitions.
  • DAN: $SLV $EXK $SLW $AGQ -- silver stocks are still moving higher. Not for the faint of heart -- so parabolic (and with declining daily volume) that you really need to have some trailing stops.

I don't see any reason to use AGQ anymore...although I hadn't been using it anyway. I might now that metals are taking front stage.

  • bigbartabs: @DAN ... I noticed you used $USLV for your x3 silver ETF. I have had $AGQ on my x3 list for silver for a long time... although I can't remember if I ever used it since it is so low volume... much like USLV. Any reason for a preference one over the other? I keep pretty close watch on x3 ETFs, and have used them for years. Especially the higher volume tickers.
  • champ: @bigbartabs $USLV $AGQ- It could be that he and others use $USLV for 3 X's silver because it is and $AGQ is NOT.. its only 2 X's sliver. But it was up for the week 22.73% not bad for 2 X's. I'm long $USLV and have posted on this ETF a few times last week because it was out performing the gold ETF $NUGT and it was up last week 22.18%... while $USLV was up 35.58%. Nothing really wrong with $AGQ 2 X's other than the volumes is low. I have positions in both $NUGT and $USLV. I will be watching $AGQ now. Have a Great 4th!
