This is interesting because the gov't is in for about $44/share. And they're selling them for $33! I don't see the "make" in this. But you gotta love the spin! This is okay, because they (we) still own another 500M shares, so when(if) the price goes up 60% to $53, that's the breakeven point for the whole deal.

The multiple-award contract has a one year base period and four one-year #options. - Russ: @Suz, @Bob regarding LDK: The only thing I can find in the usual reports that may account for the sell-off is this excerpt from the $AP follow-up at 4:56pm, "LDK said one of its Chinese subsidiaries is now subject to a 12.5 percent tax rate following two years of tax exemptions. The company's total tax bill for the quarter was $8.5 million. A year earlier, it received a $159,000 tax benefit." Notice the afterhrs retracement from -11% back to -6%. The Commerce Department reported Wednesday that new durable goods orders dropped by 2.8 percent last month, a far bigger drop than the 1 percent decline economists had been forecasting. The weakness was led by a huge 22.7 percent plunge in orders for commercial aircraft, which can be extremely volatile from month to month.
